you do need some red (620 to 680) to stimulate phytochrome conversion during flowering but absorption curve show that plant need a lot of broad spectrum blue and violet light
or maybe just that one strain [cultivar that was profiled]....but yes a a baseline of sorts nonetheless...:peace:

I wouldn't pull it out of my ass, I DID see the study. I read it thoroughly and it said that resin glands are most transparent to and active under UVB. 315nm.

Just because I can't drop everything I'm doing and go find it again doesn't mean I'm a liar. Fuckin RIU logic, that.

It also doesn't mean that study is the last word and its findings may have been superceded.
Considering that study you reference, said nothing of that sort, I am still predicated towards you being full of shit. Provide the study. Logic insults be damned.Inf fact, Sativied pointed this out...and if you read the discussion [The part at the end ], the whole area below 400nm was up for debate. Take your aridopsis and shove it please.....

You made a bold unreferenced, unsubstantiated, and incredibly ambigous statement and then attack when asked to back it up...ok

well the curve is very similar to the absorption spectrum for other terrestrial plants and because of the global war on drugs not many studies have been done on cannabis.but believe what ever you want. it's your crop

To be clear, you're the one doing all the attacking and accusing here.

Fine, don't believe a word I say. I'm not here to deceive anyone, but I'm not going to argue either.

Have a nice day.

Follow Kitehigh's(rip) years of research on cannabis and uv-b exposure..........best we have ATM, his frequent testing of the end product showed favorable & repeatable results.

U guys take this way to serious.
You are in the led section braaaahhhhhhhh.............lol

Kite high's posts are getting harder to find, I'll throw up a link to some of his wisdom, was a very good indoor gardener

https://www.rollitup.org/t/how-to-up-thc-and-other-characteristics.686681/

I miss him, always answered my questions and never let me feel like I was an idiot.......told me he was sick and I didn't realize how little time he had left........helped my indoor game for sure

met him before on icmag way back under illumination? or something like that...........let's hope he's smoking some great ganja in another life.

it's couchlock time for me, NL doesn't disappoint :)..................... ready for some chill "new' grass music

It's another Sunday, and the Eagles find another way to lose..........At least I didn't bet :mrgreen: Doug Pederson should be coaching a high school team imo..

anyways it's update time

Round 2 Day 36 of 14/10 from seed under Timber's cxb 3590 4000k/osram 660 & 730nm trigger(322w)== with my 3 god/blue diesel girls.

DSC06472.JPG DSC06473.JPG DSC06474.JPG DSC06475.JPG .......Still looks ok to me. Raised the fixture a couple of times this week. Stretch is definitely on, will do some more LST if they get crazy.............or not.

DSC06470.JPG DSC06471.JPG <<<After a 1 min run............. my coffee grinder blades have seen better days, lol, I trash picked it tbh....So following @multipass method of micronizing the dry nutrients( DR.earth vega, vegan fert), I go with around a 1/2 cup per gallon of filtered tap water, 2.5 gal poured into the 30gal container for no runoff and mess. Couldn't find a anything to fit under it so I had to figure out how much water it exactly needs. Feed about once a month or more depending what the girls show.

for filtering water I use this : https://www.lowes.com/pd/3M-Quick-Change-Maximum13-in-x-10-in-Under-Sink-Complete-Filtration-System/1000068813 , doesn't lower my tds, I want my free cal/mag but I am at acceptable levels(80-135ppms), YMMV, and takes out most of the nasties for cheap. Runs on your faucet's cold water line and can filter 1500 gal/ 6+ months @ $45 for a replacement.

DSC06477.JPG DSC06478.JPG DSC06479.JPG .....probably should turn on the heat in the apt, my fiancé says I'm a fucking cheapskate and then wonder's why I haven't married her yet:roll:

@Greengenes707.............. it's thread time buddy!

@The Dawg ........moped racing is for pussies, watch Formula 1 and see how the big boys really do it.......haha

Be safe and happy growing RIU

Looking good bro! Keep it up. How are you liking that filtration system? Been putting off installing one in our kitchen (water quality is bad) and like the price of that one you have. Any complaints about it?

I love it, using it for years now , don't need to tell you how bad South Philly water tastes like...... super easy install and twist off change out (water can stay on)..... doesn't need a dedicated faucet and have the options of filters (basic , advanced, maximum+lead) $25- $45. it's not RO , but does filter down to .05 microns. if your worried about fluoride, pharmaceuticals , etc...... it's not for you.

Con of course is it's always on when you run cold water.....no biggie really.

I said fuck the Eagles and went canoeing , of course they end up winning...........still, vaping on the river was nice & quiet.

It's Sunday and I'm still alive...... sooooo update time

Round 2 Day 43 of 14/10 from seed under timber's cxb 3590 4000k & osram 660/730nm trigger(322w)=== with my 3 god/blue diesel girls.

DSC06480.JPG DSC06481.JPG DSC06482.JPG DSC06483.JPG DSC06484.JPG DSC06485.JPG ........Supercropped most of the tops and will continue to do so until mid flower. I'll be damned if plants beat me this round:)......will increase my yield from the auxiliary sites coming up and some claim + potency from high stress training? no facts to back that up. I really hate scrogging , lol........it's just so much easier to just snap stems imo.

DSC06486.JPG DSC06487.JPG DSC06488.JPG ......OK, it's time to turn on the heat in the apt.........haha.

@Greengenes707 ..........you know the deal:wink:

be safe and happy growing RIU

It's Monday & Freezing outside, so I took another day..........not much to do this week except to think about gluttony & football:)

Round 2 Day 51 of 14/10 from seed under Timber's cxb 3590 4000k & osram 660/730nm trigger(322w)==== with my 3 god/blue diesel ladies

DSC06489.JPG DSC06490.JPG DSC06491.JPG DSC06492.JPG DSC06493.JPG .......I'm going to supercrop one more time and that's it for this run. Look at all those small sites coming up from the first round of high stress training. These temps have kept the stretch in check for the most part.

DSC06494.JPG DSC06495.JPG .....................Lots of self-defoliating going on, really thick canopy. If I see any fungal issues I will strip them down as usual.

@Greengenes707 Troll it up misses you:wink:

Be safe and happy holidays RIU...............................TBH I don't even like turkey...... prefer quail, pheasant, Cornish hen...anything else really. ha
