Welcome to RIU.
That was me and it was the greatest move I've ever made.Oh, and you guys could always hook up marine bilge pumps to a cheap 12v power pack, and suck the water out of the catchment trays.
Someone posted this one awhile back, but you could make your own setup with a pump, plastic bin, and mesh. : https://www.amazon.com/SearQing-Marine-Shower-System-Multi-Port/dp/B09C5V4B68/ref=asc_df_B09C5V4B68?tag=bngsmtphsnus-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80264466333853&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583863996256699&psc=1

That’s a monster . Looks greatJust grow one plant in a 4x8… much easier. I don’t suck up the runoff, it evaporates in between feedings in the drip tray. 3x3?... Def one plant.

Great info I appreciate itTo the OP... I have 20ft trays in my main room. I know you said you didn't want to suck it up, but this may be your best option is a ShopVac Pump Series. It has a dump valve that you can hook a standard garden hose to and never have to take the top off to dump. I only take the top of mine off every grow cycle to clean it. I'll occasionally suck up some bleach to keep things clean.
I got one of those on Amazon when it was on sale for $23 a couple of weeks ago, but haven't set it up yet as I'm waiting for my runoff trays to come in still. Looking forward to getting it dialed in.That was me and it was the greatest move I've ever made.

Transformer tents have drain outlets. https://adelaidehydro.com.au/product/transformer-tents/ I use those and sit my tent on a pallet above an old shower drain. Easy peasy drainyHi! I’m a grower , taught by the jungleboys but on my attempt to grow at home I’ve came across this bump in the road.
3x3 tent. 15 plants. Trellis is being used. BUT HOW ARE WE REMOVING RUN OFF? I don’t want to vacuum ! Or use a rag
Who would have thought they had drain outlets by looking at them.Transformer tents have drain outlets. https://adelaidehydro.com.au/product/transformer-tents/ I use those and sit my tent on a pallet above an old shower drain. Easy peasy drainy

I guess they are… more than meets the eye.
I use a tray to catch the run off raised at one end and a piece of capillary matt at the low end to empty the run off into the jug, during veg they're on the floor so I use the syringe to feed them and empty the run off from the tray.

Quality is good to as they have basically copied a Gorilla extension tent and added drain facilities.Who would have thought they had drain outlets by looking at them.
