Got it upstairs and into the car. I had to take the basement door off and the inner trim. Then roll it back downstairs to take the 1/4" plywood off the back of the cabinet. It was THAT tight!
I brought the base cabinet down. Wouldn't ya know it, the ceiling height of his new place is 3" lower. I told him to shut the fuck up for a second so I could hear the gears turn upstairs. My solution is to take the bottom brackets off the tent poles, and drill 3" into the frame of the cabinet. Then the tent poles go right into those holes. I can flap the tent over the side and staple it on. Cover it with trim after.
Next trip down I'll bring the vent stack and my paddle bit. I forgot slim doesn't own any tools. The 2 he has are ones I left at his places over the years
Probably the last time we'll see this poor bastard green again
Sweet yard at his new place. He's living in a converted garage/pool house. Nice place, decent price. Plus they don't mind him growing a few plants outdoors.
Mr Zeus came with me. My brother has 3 cats, so he got to run around and play for a bit.
Big fluffy kitty's all over!
We got his tent set up, and the sip plopped in.
I'll be back down there in the coming weeks. His last spot for a dialysis port is being wonky. He might be in the hospital with a mainline until he gets a transplant. Good thing I brought the sip down. Just add water, so anyone can fill in for him.
Gave him this too. He loves Futurama
I wrote on the bottom too. It says "if she gets too tall, BEND it!"
