Temp dropped at night....

So my night temps have gone down to the mid-40's the last coupla nights and my plants now have darkened leaves with dry curling at the tips. Being a newbie I'm just assuming it's the temps and not a water or nute issue since it came on so quickly. (2 days) Not all the leaves are affected yet and the new growth looks good still but the plants overall look in pretty rough shape. The day temps will be between 75-80ish for the next 10 days or so. Any ideas?

I saw in a video from Mr. grow it, that those could signs of nitrogen toxicity. I'll stick around to see what experienced growers think xD. Probably some pictures of the leaves and overall plant would help.

I live in Northern Colorado, and it was down in the 40s and mine don't seem to mind, but it usually gets in the 50s here at night. As long as its not freezing they should pull through or do makeshift greenhouse. Dark green and curling leaves could be nitrogen toxicity like mentioned above. What strains are you running? I have louis 13, chem 91, and sunset sherbet. All from clone in 15 gallon smartpots.

Here in Colorado I have left plants until late October when it was mid 30s. It took them at least 4 times before turning purple. No other signs before that

build a cover,it takes a few hrs of sunlight in the am to warm it back up.keep them warm!
I find its easier to keep the roots warm then the plant itself. I always just make sure the roots have plenty of water before it goes through a cold snap. It helps insulate them and I've had them as low as the mid 20s at night.

Haven't changed any nutes since I started growing these girls, I have noticed that the 5 gal pots they're in have remained heavy recently so I've backed off on the watering. Might that have been a problem that would cause browning of leaves and curl?
It is definitely overwatering...
