A great product for removing rust from chrome, or any steel, is oxalic acid. It's gentle too, not like most acids. I bought a 10 pound box of it years ago on EBay for cheap and still have some left. It's great also for removing stains from hardwood floors, cleaning dirty roof shingles, and more.

I recently bought myself a Cube Aim PRO 29. I haven't quite got the hang of it yet, but so far I'm happy with the purchase.

I picked up an off road scooter not long ago,was originally looking for an E bike but the lack of uphill power lead me to a 3000w scooter instead.
What a hoot this thing is,I dont go on roads, I stick to pathways paved and gravel.
Here in Canada e bikes are restricted to 32kmh/20mph.But scooters for some reason arnt and can go crazy speeds.I have no desire to go that fast but for long rides its great.
I also added a seat to make it a little safer,

14 miles today. Killed my neck and elbow . Great bike trail. many serious bikers and groups ride here. iron man was out and about.

We made the ride to work and it was killer. There are so many steep hills . It’s only 3.5 miles but the hills are so steep up and down. The morning ride at 6 am when it’s cool I could master after time but it’s the afternoon ride at the hottest time of day with killer heat I know I can’t do. Very unfortunate. So started looking at e bikes and videos about the mechanics, motor, battery, ect ect …and I am definitely not interested.

If considering an e-bike, look for a Bosch motor. Most quality brands use them. The junk brands don't.

Shimano steps are also great motors. Specialized house brand is another that is quality.

Yeah, there's other good choices as well nowadays.
Bosch was first to combine quality and integration; it's nice to see the competition.
Far too many e-bikes have a no-name motor with questionable specs for a too good to be true price.
I'm sure any quality name brand is a safe bet today.

When me and my wife found out we were having a kid and she was talking about cribs and onsies and strollers, the first thing I went out and bought was a fucking sweet ass bmx for me and a kids bike for him for when he was old enough. 5 years later he's finally old enough. I've been trying to get him to ride this bike for at least the past 2 years but he was scared to try. Finally 2 months ago he asks me to take him riding his bike. "Hells yeah I will!" Now at least twice a week me and my son go bike riding. We've got a bike path down the street that goes for miles. Not that we go that far, but it's safe and convenient. I rode my bike everywhere when I was a kid. Def was my most prized possession. I really love that I get to do it with my kid now

You know my first reaction to motorized bikes was, "not for me". But god damn, I'm 40 years old and they're starting to look pretty sweet. I filed this tid bit of info away for when I do. Also saw the post under this about Shimano and specialized house brand being quality too. Thanks

Probably would have had my bike up and running today, minus some adjustments but the cables I bought were too short to reach the rear brake. Everything else is basically done and it would have been done sooner but some of the parts I ordered got lost in the mail.

Just turned 600 miles on my e-bike yesterday, and outran an angry German Shepherd....barely!

First time I have actually been chased, surprisingly! Making me think a can of mace might be a good idea!

Last year I had a bear cub jump out just a few feet in front of me...Honestly the German Shepherd was far scarier!!

Got me a new trek marlin 9 this year. I will never buy a different brand of bike after owning a trek! My first one I bought ten years ago and it still runs great! One of my kids uses that one. But a word to the wise... invest in bike shorts! Your ass will thank you!!
