Marc means well, but his rants border on belligerent and politicians will never take him seriously. Jodie on the other hand, is well prepared with relevant data/facts. She's passionate, but professional...and is very well spoken. I'm sure her testimony is taken much more seriously by those listening.

Did you see at the end when Davies from the NDP had them vote on hearing from people within the culture as well as younger people. To address things like the lack of edibles or concentrates. He made one hell of a valid argument for doing so and the fuckers voted against doing so

These meetings are for show so it was not too surprising. I believe that the Liberals are going to pass this bill as is, they created and like it so they will go out of their way to not change it.

The emerys are an example of why legalization has taken so long. If people like them kept their yaps shut and stopped looking like a bunch of clowns scaring the majority of society we would have had legalization a long time ago. Politicians are quick to point out that these are the leaders of the legalization effort and bring up their criminal past. Our voting populace does not like criminals at all.
Besides, the emerys were caught illegally distributing smut and other banned material in the early 90s so you know they are only in it for the money.
