Tall Straws First Grow, Hop on for the ride!!!!!! Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Don't know how to bold, so I made it annoyingly long..

Okay, so I had no luck in the grow journal department, so I figured I needed to go to newbie central to maybe get some luck!?
Tell me how to make it better, so I get more people in to get discussions, and tps, and all that good stuff together!

Materials:
I have a 4x4 tent thing
with a 1k watt MH or HPS at my disposal, and 2 125w veg CFL's, 1 having a reflective wing, 1 not, at my disposal(that I'm not using).
Im using 3 gal pots(big mistake, next grow is 5gal Superoot Air Pot's)
Fox Farms Ocean grow soil
And a bunch of distilled water normally. But my band ruined my debit card so while waiting for a new one, I'm refilling them with tap, and letting them sit open, overnight.

Here's how it started

2-Tangerine Dream on the right
2 Grape Krush on the left


Then we added some local cross from a grower I know, he mixed hawiian something, and then something else, and calls it skittles. As well as the other plants at week 2

Then I added a DJ shortblueberry-orange pot
OG Kush/Bluedream cross from a different local commercial grower-bottom left
Week 3 of veg growth



Day 12 of flowering, I added a trainwreck, OG kush, Pineapple express, and Dairy Queen, just for diversity, and personal smoke for my girl. This is all for her. I don't smoke, and can't by law, unfortunaly. But this was always way more fun than smoking ever was for me. I had a few shit small never finished grows when I was a teen.

just got me a 4x4 secret jardin tent. i think after 1 or two grows im just going to get a 5x5 tent for flowering they are awesome tents.

Thy really are, mine's backwards, but it's too late now, I don't feel like rotating it lol.
We're gonna add an 8x4 to have a 4x4 for mothers and clones, and 2 flowering rooms for 12 harvests a year. She doesn't know it yet, but she'll just have to deal with it lol I really like the tent so far.

Just into week 4. Here are the updated pictures. All of my plants have some sort of deficiency. I'm gonna try and sort them all out tomorrow because I'm off duty. Which is why I think my bud growth is so slow.

Not at all, week four of flower kinda sucks in general. Its when everyone says oh shit man, idk, it looks like they aint going to put on the weight i was hoping for. Then two weeks after that youll finally stop holding your breath because theyll be building fast. Some people say flowering time starts when you see flowers starting to form, usually about two weeks from when youflip the lights. Now lets see this "deficiency" your talkin about. Take some pics in natural light before the lights come on with a couple cfls if ya gotta. You could be over feeding or it could be the container size too. I use ffof and i hardly have to add anything as far as nutes go. Its real easy to burn em lol...subbed

But I'll move the light up anyways, couldn't really hurt. Higher up would still be more lumens than a 600w.

I' have been just using tap water, with cal mag the past 2 watering, and before that I flushed them with gallons of tap water, and now I noticed the problem starting to happen in all the plants kind of. I think it may have been she has super hard water? So Im back to buying Distilled water by the gallon again, which is okay by me, and adding normal feeding of calmag to the water for a week or 2, and see if that fixes anything. Here are some pictures I took yesterday.

From my deficiency thread.

Girl flooded her house and it was coming out of her ceiling. Had to shut the electricity off. They've been in the dark for like 36 hours maybe a little more. Turning the lights back on tonight.

Damn i hate it when that happens, no diesel gen to be found? Theyll be ok, ive seen worse lol

Yeah I know. She now has a bubble in the ceiling... -_-
We had powdery mildew before. The humidity was 88% when I checked it! I didn't realize she turned off the freakin exhaust fan!! So I'm gonna keep an eye out for that. A lot more yellowing now, and it's moving up thr leaves to the visible canapoy. From the outside into the middle of the leave. So I think it's finally not locked out now, and feeding how it should be, and the nutrients arent there. So I gave them a full label listing of:
GH CalMag+
2.5ml each of GH bloom and Thrive, for a gallon of water, and fed all thr plants incredibly lightly. Especially since the soil was already wet.

I'm thinking of feeding them veg nutes for a week, tto correct the foliage problem? Then when that's sorted ou5 give them fish emulsion with their bloom nutes? Or do I have this all wrong?

Also if your worried about powdery mildew on your plants mix up a teaspoon of baking soda in a spray bottle full of water and spray your plants. It changes the ph on the leaf so pm cant grow. Ive beaten pm with this in a couple different gardens and it only costs like 2 cents

The pm wash seemed to do me well, after I sprayed it a few days in a row and thrn turned my exhuast fan on. It keeps the humidity around 25-35% (max), and I havent had any signs since. This is me just saying it could be a possibility. So im gonna keep an eye on em. Precautionary, not actuary.

Yup, nute burn. Explain to me how youve been watering them and with how much water per plant.

My ph has been WAYYYYY offf. Got a digital ph meter yesterday. Put my 3ml of calmag in the gallon. Checked the ph. 7.0 before, 4.9 after the additive. Used some ph up, and put it to 6.3. I normally use a gallon and a half per 7 plants, water every 2 days. I was doing 2 waters, 1 feeding. But my local shop owner was saying do 1 on 1 off, with 1, 4 strength nutes. To also move my lights up. Without looking at them he said he thinks they're trying to make moresilica (?). So they need less Iintense light and shit. I think I'll be much more successful now that I have my digital meter. I was butchering that ph the whole time, I had to have been.

Heres why your plants are burnt. You need to flush them. Just think. You keep putting nutes in and where docthey go?no where...nowhere. Burnt. Measure your runoff and get back to me.

That makes sense...almost immediately. I just watered them yesterday. I'll let you know tonight.

High salt content also causes lockout and things get really bad from then on lol. The bad news is that things with your leaves wont just get better. The good news is that if you correct it you can still have a huge harvest with some crispy leaves

Hopping on for the ride I am having the same problem 5 weeks into flowering my P.h, was also way off trying to get things corrected now so good luck I will keep following your thread and when i get mine back in control I will let you know
