Brother tags, what are your thoughts on the apache tubes for veg? I'm looking for some veg only lights ave thinking about giving them a whirl. How many would I need for about 4 babies?

Whenever I get the 660 I will get a 6 ATtube fixture to see for myself. But based on the numbers, if people are happy with T5's(I always have been), they be happy with these too.


These pics are not mine but a guy who got 4 right away. He has 3 hydrotubs for veg, 2 hydrotubs under T5's(4bulbs,231w) and 1 hydrotub under ATtubes(4tubes,78w). Those are the wattages he measured with a watt meter.

These are the same 19 days later. T5 have a little more growth but considering that they use 153w more(231w vs 78w), I think the difference is acceptable. The tubes are ridiculously cool too, and it's a very noticeable difference between the tubes and T5 temps.

PUFF...I would say 2-3 based on how much/big/fast you are trying to veg. Will the tubes be the only veg light or will you move up to the sgs when ready?

Man when I think Im done wanting lights I see things like this lol, I used to have a quantum badboy 16 bulb system..it rocked but used 900 watts and put off a bit of heat t5 or not. But 16 of these tubes would boom! And also get pricey lol

The Jilly's and the Big Lemons in the IG room are doing great.
The ace think cause they are sexy purple they can be bitches...typical sluts doing what ever it takes to get some...even self pollinate. Bananas this late are usually sterile and not much to worry about, just a pain in my ass. Plus I don't have anything else in the room flowering. The IG is on a separate air system plus the carbon filters and furnace filters stop any crazy chances of air mixing. And I do them first and seal it up then go to the AT room.

I think all should be fine and I'll just ride it out for the last week.

Goddamn they look good! Maybe it's just the pontoon, but the tops just seem to resonate purple like mad.

Everything I've seen from TGA has done really well, but then maybe I just follow the good growers..

Said it before and I'll say it again, GREAT JOB! The nugs just look awesome, like a sea of giant buds.

Probably about 5-7 days.

Spider mites aren't going to kill or stop them. And at this point there really isn't anything todo about it other than chop. I take off any leaf I see with suck marks. There are no webs yet so I think I will be just fine going to full flower time for optimal thc production.
