I grew some last year, as a long time smoker of weed and 'bacy I thought if I don't quit this time I'll grow my own, lucky for me I quit, but I tried my DIY, and many of my friends didn't believe what I was growing was tobacco, a very tall plant like a cross between a cabbage and corn, let it run its course then dry it on bamboo stakes at the back of my garage, warm and dim, no bright lights for 2-3 weeks, then to an old food processor, then to the bag, like cannabis cure really fun too, amazing the amount of bugs that get caught up in the sap on the leaves, enough to give you lung cancer .....lol glad I quit

Most are so used to the taste of commerical tobbacco that they dont reconise the taste of real tobbaco , If it was not for the nicotine I dont think they would even believe me.

My first year of growing tobbaco it litterly almost killed me , When most of the plants were around 5' I was outside trying to catch the horned worms , From brushing against the plants I assorbed the nicoten and got sick as hell for about 45 minutes ( I dont smoke or otherwise use tobbaco)
