yea try amazon or ebay or just google it

but here is a nice place, atlest to look up what kind there is out there

http://www.greners.com/i/grow-lights/fluorescent-grow-lights/t5-fixtures.html

if your only plan to use em for Veg. and never will flower with em, a normal T5 or even a high output/watt T8 fixture can easily work, if you want to flower with em as well you need to look in to the HO (high output) type or even the VHO (very high output)

also make sure to mix the spectrum a bit with a majority of high Kelvin for Veg and low for flowering, Etc go for 2700K and 3000K for flowering and 5000K/6500K for veg
I have 4x6500K and 2x2700K in my T5HO fixture I use to Veg with

most important with em is to keep em close, 2-6 inch`s (5-15cm)

How many plants do you plan to veg?

Vegging can be done extremely well using Cree household globes

I also use a 2 x 4ft shop light + 2 led tubes to veg more plants

I got mine here, works great, great product, and best price I've found, click on "store" then click on "store front" then grow lights, scroll to fluorescent grow lights, you can't go wrong.

I just ran a test of 4 @ 18w led tubes + ~ 40w of A19 led globes v my BB 8 bulb, using a mix of specialty aquarium bulbs + Quantum bulbs

Recently I moved the female from the led tent to the hot5 tent (she's on the left), her counterpart is on the far right

Plants expressing the same Indica dom pheno are virtually identical

The hot5 tubes do not last anywhere near as long at > 90% than advertised, and cost @ > $20-30 (shipping/tax)

For small growers, led tubes (and now panels) represent a breakthrough in life expectancy and getting mercury out the environment

Instead of making a new thread, I hope you don't mind me posting a question here...

I'm using a 3x3 tent.. What size t5 do you guys suggest to fill the space?

Well.....obviously a 4' light would be a challenge in a 3x3 tent. two 2' four bulbs would fit the bill. Make sure you get T5 high outputs.

Gotcha... I'll be looking. Any lamps you recommend that aren't super high priced? I'm going to be using it for clones moms etc....

What about 2 of the tek two units from htg supply ? They put out 10k lumens each and are actually very small.. I could prolly fit 3 in the tent if I wanted to...

was said above but Quantum Badboys work nicely with a fullham racehorse ballast, but so do the less well-known fluorogrow evergreen units. ive got two fluorogrows and a badboy right now but i'm gonna jump to an area 51 sgs or xgs soon
be easy,

I'm using a hydro farm 8 bulb designer fixture. It was used to keep 3 mothers in a 3x3 (building new room now) I would really like to try the bad boy. The hydro farm I have now is a great fixture and was not as pricy as some of the other brands. It's what I have at the moment but won't go as far to say it's the best.
