I'm currently growing in a 3'x3'x7'11" tent. My primary light is a 315W CMH. I plan on growing them as wide and tall as possible to maximize my space. I recall reading that with some lights, such as mine, it only penetrates the top 3 feet of the canopy, with the rest of the plant going to waste in effect. I have an A/C system, so temps are kept inline easily.
So here's my idea or thought: Do you think it would be beneficial to add T5 side lighting? I was considering either a 2ft (8 bulb) fixture or a 4 ft (8 bulb) fixture. I know I can't have it mounted on the tent's entry, but would I need to have a light on each wall, or would just the two sides (left and right) be sufficient?
