Switching plants from 24/0 to 18/6 to being outside in early May questions.

So I started my 15 plants in so cal from seed at 24/0 light and they are at 5 weeks to current date. My question is should I slowly train them one hour a day of darkness to 18/6 light or just switch to 18/6 light? Will it induce flowering to reduce the light time being in 24/0 light for the first 5 weeks??? I plan to put them outside in about 3 weeks and I don’t want them to flower. Any advice on the approach to switching my plants from 24/0 to being outside without flowering would be great. Thanks all.

Going from 24hrs to 18hrs shouldnt trigger plants to flower ,you'll be fine.
I do it all the time, i've only had some strains start to flower at 16 hrs.
