This is my first time actually growing. (Not counting the closet grows growing up that got caught lol)

I've always been into gardening So this is right up my alley. My goal is to have some quality medicine.

So I started growing originally I think around mid-February. Makes them currently about 6 weeks old from seed. I've been taking photos as I progress. Decided to upload here primarily for some reassurance and or guidance.

I got these seeds from five pack genetics. I feel that these are going to be some quality buds. They sent me a total of 10 seeds to test. Five of them are from a batch called Chicago. Five are called Canada. I attach the paperwork that came with them.

I originally only popped three of each. Sure enough... This genius accidentally mixed up the seeds while she was labeling them. Out of the six, only four made it. What they are I have no idea. Maybe we can make it a fantastic guessing game!!

did later on pop the remaining four a few weeks later. Those I actually do have labeled. One of them didn't make it. RIP...

During this process I've been transitioning as I've been learning. It's been interesting to say the least. I'm definitely growing with soil. Everything is growing in my basement. I originally was using one of those plastic greenhouses Menards sells for cheap.

Still growing in the basement only now I have moved them into a bathroom type area. When we bought the house they have a shitter, sink, and shower in the basement. It doesn't actually have any walls lol. You'll see what I mean later. So I put the babies in the shower.

I'm going to get going for the evening. Tell you more about them later.

Time to introduce to you the kids. Let me preface this by saying they have boy names. Screw you all, I like boys better. I just hope they have womanly parts.

Today I'll start by introducing to you Jesus.

He is my eldest of the 6 main seeds that I originally started. He is by far the biggest. He is in the fabric pot back right with the pink tag that reads Jesus.

He was the one I transplanted first. If I was going to try out anything, I always did it to Jesus first. If it went well, I would do it to the rest of the plants.

I would say his stock is about half an inch thick or a pinky. I topped her when she was at six nodes. Maybe one day I'll get a ruler to see how tall she is.

I have been removing or pruning weekly. Notice she does need a little bit more magnesium. I've given her some epsom salt

Just recently I gave them Epsom salt, a fresh dosing of organic chicken poop, ,diatomaceous earth, strawberry gelatin, and a healthy watering.

I need to figure out where is a good place to take a cutting. With that cutting I plan on making a clone so that I can flower that clone as soon as it's good to go. Figured that would be the best way to determine sex of all of them.

Any suggestions of where I should cut?

Also then, how big of a transfer pot do you think I will need? Of the four plants I need to clone and flower, should I put just put the four of them into one of these big fabric pots? I'm primarily only concerned about determining sex. And maybe a sampling of what's to come hehe

Hi hi. Last night was a bit of fun. I got to do a bit of shopping. Sears by us is going out of business. I was able to pick up a nice dehumidifier for a hundred bucks. Then I went to Menards with my buddy. Picked up some white 6-ft by 25-ft roll of plastic for painters. I think it's 4mm thick. Will this be sufficient for my grow room op?

In the storage room on the right, I plan on having that being turned into the curing/drying room. I will tarp that off.
Shower- my current vegging area. I really need to get these kids sexed. Have three more pots that need to be transplanted. Suggestions?

Under the stairs to the shower I plan on closing off and making into the flowering bit. Going to really need to make sure that s***'s sealed. And probably should figure out a way to vent it. We do have an air duct in that bathroom that's running from the furnace.

Currently by the front entrance, I have my cloning room. I just took clippings from the four main. I plan on cloning and flowering right away. I'm going to take notes and how each of them grow. I also will determine sex hopefully within the next three weeks.

Oh, I forgot to show you pictures of the clones.

I am using a fabric pot.
50% peat
20% organic soil
30% vermiculite (regular50/50 fine )
Diatomaceous earth
Cinnamon
Chicken poop
Rooting hormone
Squirt of hydrogen peroxide

What do you guys think?
Tomorrow I will bring a photo of them in their new home.IMG_20200425_015829.jpg

I've checked on the babies. David and Jesus seem to have really perked up since yesterday. I'm quite happy about that. But I did notice Lazarus was starting to wilt.

The clones aren't as poppy/springy as I want them to be. So I've given them a slight nutrient bath. I'm 90% certain it's a humidity issue.

Although I have them in this grow tent it seems to be drying out somewhat quickly. I suspect it has something to do with the soil.

When I initially made the flowering pot, I was a bit conservative when watering. When I came back the second time I noticed it was still pretty dry. So I watered it again. This isn't a terrible problem to have. It just means that I need to water it more often. at least until the roots start to take off a little bit. The biggest problem is waiting... I constantly want to check the roots. But I know that's the stupidest thing to do right now.

Oh, what I am noticing is that when I dipped the stems in the chicken poop liquid, it definitely didn't do anything bad. I think it actually helped.

So to say it again, a water down chicken poop fertilizer a couple drops of hydrogen peroxide. I dipped the freshly cut clippings.Screenshot_20200425-144749.png

I'm done I dipped it into this rooting hormone. I definitely did not follow the directions when it said to tap off excess.

My misting and just keeping it watered.

After sitting here for an hour with them, I'm noticing a significant improvement. They've got their spring back. I love spending time with the kids!

I'm not going to lie... I really wish someone would say hi or if they're going okay. My anxiety is kind of tripping out. It feels like I'm doing a backyard Debbie version. Not usually the 100% traditional.

I have a couple of suggestions. Your plants look like they may be over watered and/or showing early signs of nitrogen toxicity. If you are using soil that already has nutrients in it then you shouldn’t need to give them anything but water for awhile. Those pots being crammed together the way they are is also going to promote the growth of mold and mildew. They need to be spaced apart and you’ll need some fans to circulate the air around the pots. The last suggestion is that planting those clones in the same pot is a bad idea. They will probably have a hard time rooting the way you are doing it but, if they do root, the roots from each plant will grow into each other and that will cause issues. Good luck with your grow!

hi whats up? are these 3-meters reliable in your case? mine not so much... except for the humidity setting... but only usable as an indicator and only in final pots

your clones, they need high rH otherwise the leaves will droop, a dome over them would do the trick

and keep H2O2 out of the organic substrate - this one is really harmful on bacterias...

Hi! Thank you for being the first person to post on my post.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom. As for my plants in the shower..
How much space should they have in between?
What do you do if they do have a little mold on a side of one pot?

When you say that it looks like they're being overwatered and signs of nitrogen toxicity, are you referring to the clones and/or the shower babies?
I knew I was going to take a clone of the shower babies, so the day before I made sure to give them a really good watering. The soils already starting to dry out now.

I have a single fan at the top, it's basically blowing down.

As for the clones being in a single pot, I'm not too worried. Realistically I only want to find out the sex of my shower babies. I'm not so much worried about quality for them. As soon as they show me nuts or pistols they will have served their purpose. I will probably let them continue to grow afterwards. Purely so I can see growth patterns and try out techniques. I'm much rather be able to fart around with these guys than potentially ruin the shower babies.

Hi hi back, they are no longer drooping! I was definitely trying to keep the humidity in there as well. I didn't quite have a dome. What I did was missed the walls of the green thing. And below them they are sitting above a heat mat with water in it.

I was reading that hydrogen peroxide is good for keeping it sterile. It's active for about 3 days. After that bacteria and s*** can start to grow back. That's when I'll add the bacterias.
I thought early on they don't want a whole lot of stuff?

Howdy ho yo's

We have roots! I couldn't help myself... I pulled one out and saw that I have these cute little nibbies
IMG_20200426_002350.jpg

No more wilting. The plants in general are quite springy. I'm quite pleased with how they're doing.
I am now officially done watering them. The last thing I need for them to do is to start damping off.

Took a couple of close-ups of the littles.
What light schedule should I have them on? I currently am just doing 24s until I decide to switch them over to flower.

This is the light bulb I'm using by the way. I got them last year. They were in the clearance section at Menards. They're supposed to be for flood lights.

Not much has happened but much has happened since my last post.

Sooo many questions and uncertainties. Damn anxiety.
How are my kids progress in comparison to others? I'm having a really hard time telling growth apart. The kids were started mid-February.
When I find out which are the girls- do I keep them as mothers? Should I be taking second clones of each?
I think I feel most comfortable flowering only one at a time.

Oh, I forgot to say. I have made some approvements in the grow room. my brother came over and helped me hang or rather... He hanged.. 6 mm black sheeting. And 4 mm white sheeting.

I plan on getting a second grow light. I will let the shower be the single flowering room.

Oh and my brother said that he can help me out with getting air through a window to my room.

A branch snapped....

I was sliding into position another tomato cage. I accidentally snapped a branch off of Jesus. Fuck.

First off, what the hell should I do regarding this bite taken out of my homie? Should I be freaking out here? Do I just go grab a Band-Aid?

IMG_20200510_212951.jpg

God damn it I was trying to decrease the amount of plants I have.

I immediately made up another pot and shoved the stem in with some rooting hormone. I'm only moderately annoyed.

Oh! To explain what I was actually trying to do to Jesus. I was at farm and fleet store. I picked up one of those recycled burlap sacks that they have available for like $3. I wanted to transplant Jesus into it. My thought process was that it's a really good size. Plus the roots will be able to breathe really well through it.

I have also added a heater in the grow room. I have it set for like 68°. I bet if I was able to get the ceiling panels up, it would be able to retain heat in there significantly better.

All right. You might want to sit down for this.

Jesus is a girl!

The clone of the snapped branch isn't doing so well. I've had to redip. I also accidentally made another clone of bell. I ended up just plopping them all into my little grow tent and hydrating the hell out of it.

All right. Had a bit of a photo sesh with the kids. I just want to say that it's super interesting how different these plants have grown. I've popped a total of 10 cannabis seeds. Each one of them are growing differently.

Yeah a few died. Boohoo. But the ones that I have going now I feel are doing pretty damn good.

Well... Maybe not Belle. It feels like she's becoming more of a 4 headed fucking vine. I mean look at her. She has fucking arms. If I spray painted her black she would look like a spider.

On Jesus. What I'm noticing about her is that she does have nice thicker branches. There's one at the bottom I am debating about taking off. It just doesn't seem very strong compared to the others.

What would happen if I ended up with all females?

Oh, I ordered two more lights. I originally was going to try to get another Mars hydro 600 w LED. I noticed that the price had gone up$40 from when I bought it in March. Hubby gave me a $100 limit. That meant I had to go search elsewhere. Landed on another full spectrum LED. This time I'm doing 1,000 w. I also grabbed an ultraviolet floodlight LED for in the flowering bit.

I'm so excited! My new lights get here on Monday.

Good things are coming I feel. it's going to be cool because I'll be finally able to set up a larger vegetation area. Plus I'll finally get to start to flower Jesus. A part of me doesn't want to. The dark Horder in me.
What if Jesus is amazing? What if I want Jesus to be a mother. Blah I struggle with making decisions. My husband says it's because my brain is all mushy.

Next business... I'm finding it pretty cool How different each plant is growing. Jesus used to be my prize. Now I think Bell is going to be the next big giant. Her side branches are just wow.

As for David and Lazarus... I'm pretty sure they are from the Chicago strain. They seem to be more of Indica dominant. I'm not entirely sure how to prune them for best growth. It's just so dense!

Oh, things are my shopping list...

Worms
Command hooks
Net for scrogging.. or maybe I'll make my own because I have those stupid tomato cages in the way.
Additional burlap sacks
Diatomaceous earth
Maybe a fish tank

And I have to return my sprayer. For some reason it refuses to disperse any liquid. Like it has a clogged somewhere. I don't know how to take it apart to figure out where the problem is.

Oh.. and to my shopping list additionally

A couple packets of yeast
Black spray paint
Tomatoes
More fans.

On my wish list,
Biothrive
Kelp products
Composter
Swap out the sink pedestal for something a bit more functional. Pedestal sinks are absolutely f****** stupid. I need counter space and storage is awesome. I'm going to have to scour the internet for some cheap options.

I saw someone online who made this diy homemade co2 dispersal thing. I kinda want to try it out.

I've realized that I think the reason why I like the tomato cages, I can bend the plants away from the center. That and then I'm able to move them about better.

Does anyone have any recommendations for my burlap sacks? How to make them more stable and formed.
