Hey all. I'm working on a supersoil recipe that I will be using(and tweaking) from now on.
So far this is the recipe:
I am using this mix (but welcome suggestions for additions..) I also plan to feed the plants using it with Advanced Nutrients CoCo 2 part.
What are your 'goto' soil mixes? Organic, or soil-less hydro mixes?
So far this is the recipe:
- 3.8-CF Pro Mix HP High Porosity with Mycorise
- Perlite in a 1:4 ratio with the pro-mix -- which is about 1 cubic foot of Perlite here.
- 5 pounds organic worm castings
- 1 Pounds Vermiculite
- one pound green sand
- one pound loamy sand (normal sand, unwashed)
- one pound kelp meal
- one pound alfalfa meal
- 1/4 cup Epsom salt
- I add a tiny bit of Dolomite lime, but not much since pro-mix already contains it.
- About 3 tablespoons of super water-retaining gel. (Or just one fist full thrown in the mix)
- Google: Water absorbing crystal, polymer
I am using this mix (but welcome suggestions for additions..) I also plan to feed the plants using it with Advanced Nutrients CoCo 2 part.
