I recently bought a Supercritical Fluids CO2 Extractor SFT-NPX-10 from an auction. I have it pressureized and loaded with liquid CO2. I just cant get it o produce properly. Does anyone have experince with this machine and maybe some temps / parameters for chiller, extractor and separator to start with. I am not sure my liquid pump is working as it should etc...

Holy shit dude. That’s high grade lab equipment.
I would really contact the manufacturer for a Manuel or something.

I highly doubt anyone is using this casually. Major operations use these machines.

You should likely get the proper technician to look it over and make sure it was not put up for auction because of a failed part and get it replaced, like the pump you suspect.

I’ve never had one of these beautiful machines, but I would assume they have to be calibrated to a T for maximum efficiency that they are meant to produce.

With that said I am jealous. enjoy lol!!! :eyesmoke:

I have tried the manufacturer and they have been a little bit of help. I have also read the manual and everything associated with it for that machine but is vague and basic as this Extractor can do many different products.

They don't have much on line via you tube or manufacturer videos. They don't have training on this machine unless I want to have a engineer come out for 10k plus expenses.

I contacted one guy from Dynasep but he has been difficult to connect with... I have had a touch of success but not a good yield and unsure of the color results in cart.

Man I would be hella happy I’m getting anything out of it! Keep doing smaller amounts and tune it in. Good luck brother a 10k a day engineer sounds about right to run it… like I said big business use these and they are $$$

For oil extraction, decarb your material at 250 F for 90 mins. Set pressure in solvent chamber to 2850-3000 p.s.i. and temp to 113 F. Pressure in expansion chamber around 650 p.s.i. and temp at 108 F. depending on how much THC is in the product will determine run time. 30% run at 2.5 hours
25% run at 2 hours 20% run at 1.5 hours 15% at 75 mins. These are the parameters for an IES unit. I'm not sure how well in will work with your particular extractor. If you plan to make vapes, before your decarb your material, do a terp run. 1180-1200 psi in solvent at 113 F. 650 psi at 80 F for the expansion chamber. Run for about 45 mins.
