Sunshine mix #1 vs Sunshine mix #4

So the hydro store where I'm at charges 48.95 for their sunshine mix #4 bales, which I've been using until now. It's too way too expensive for 15 gallon pots. While visiting the local pet, feed and lawn store, I saw that they had tons sunshine bales, but it was Sunshine mix #1. What's the diffrence? It's 20 bucks cheaper than the stuff I'm getting now (everything here is over priced)

If I were to stay with the Sunshine #4 would mixing with more coco, or perlite be a bad idea?

SS#4 has added aggregate for better drainage. Many folks add even more perlite for even better drainage.

Sunshine#4 is awesome and yes you can amend it with coco with great success, find the urban grower on youtube he grows monster trees in a mix of 75% canna coco and 25% sunshine #4. I'm sure 50 50 would work as well.I just bite the price tag because for me its the best medium.
