Suggestions to set up this room?

Hey all - going to be setting up a new space, its a cool little spot that is pretty stealth so looking to make it work. The space is 4x6 with a sloped ceiling from 5' up to 7', able to vent to the outside, looking to grow in a 4x4 footprint. Will be growing under acmpr so not overly worried about smell or a bit of noise, just don't want to get robbed lol. The biggest issue I have is that my 4x4 will be at the back of the room (given where the door currently is) so my ceiling height right at the back is 5', then slopes up to about 6' in that 4x4 space, so height between plants and the light is a bit tight.

Wanted to roll with a 600W HID to start with two try to keep costs down but don't think I can make it work with the restricted height due to heat. So was leaning towards LED, figure I need around 480 true watts of quality LED, I'm in Canada so shipping and duties makes buying from US a bit pricey, was looking at this light:
Meanwell 480 driver, Samsung LM201H w/ UV and IR - thought it looked decent given the price. Want to try to keep the cost on the light at $600CAD max...then add to it.

Wanted to use a Cloudline T6 to pull air out, not sure that I need another to draw in using LED vs HID and was just thinking of allowing passive air to enter room through a vent. Also figure I should have an oil filled radiating heater in there as well if going LED, and then the usual oscillating fans. Not sold on needing a charcoal filter given I'll be legal and it would vent into basically a ditch area between two garages, I'd rather put the cash somewhere else for now

Looking for input from HID and LED peeps about how you would go about kitting out this space and how you would set up the grow (# plants, SOG or other etc) - any help is really appreciated

I have 1000 watts of those lights and like them. Burnt a driver and 7 diodes so far though. Here's my rant https://www.rollitup.org/t/burnt-led-diodes.1042218/ I really had great results with Blimburn's Sour Diesel under them; but the intensity is just barely enough in my opinion. I'm running 1200 watts of HPS with my 1000 watts of LEDs this grow to see how it works for me.
You say 4x4 so you're using a tent, right. So you'll vent the tent into the room; that SHOULD work to keep temps down, you might want some cold air intake though. If that room is 15C or above in the night I doubt you'll need a heater.
I grow SCROG and it works very well for low ceilings and maximum yield from a plant.

A 6" on full will work. It'll pull a negative pressure with that size of room. With an 8", half speed with the ability to vacuum the room completely out in a minute. Good to have if there's ever a heat spike.

With a net, scrog style. You'll be able to keep them low. One topping on an indica dominant hybrid. ~ 3.5' of space needed.

I'm an LED grower. The heat isn't a concern. With no heater, my light rack will heat the room to 78°-80°. With outside the house temps of 60°-70°. Below, 60°. It needs a heater. Oil on a controller.

Planting to grow inside the room, no tent. I can definitely have the ability. (And probably willl) make a controllable air intake vent

I’ll look at the 8” then, just dropped $1K yesterday on gear, wife is thrilled...lol
I ended up buying a 250 W board with two qbs that have Cree 660nm & 730nm and UV. Shows a 4x4 flower, but I know I should have another 250w to make the most of the space, in time tho.
Just bought seeds through seedsman - Black Sugar photo, NL auto got Blueberry photo gems and White widow photo gems as free is, which I’m stoked about.
Was thinking of doing 2x Black sugar (indica) and 2x WW - maybe mainline under the scrog? How would you train em?

Just a $1000? I bet when its all said and done. $2000-$2500.

As for training them. Semi scrog. Net 12" off the soil. Topped once at the 6th node. Veg till they touch the net pretty good. Flip. For that size of space. I suggest two plants total. Four plants touching each other will grow taller then if they don't touch. They naturally grow tall in competition with other plants.

Thanks - I appreciate the advice
Semi scrog? Not familiar with that
Why just the single top?

Single top because it grows flat enough with only one topping.

Semi Scrog because someone that used a trellis net to support branches. Decided one day to tie the top growth to the net. Its ok to use the original way.

Ahh ok I got ya, I’ve seen that done
I never considered just a simple topping, I’ve always done some type of lst in past grows
