Hey all again, I have 5 plants. Planted at the same time just for fun and it looks like 4 of them are flowering strongly and 1 is just like stuck in limbo. This is my first grow so be gentle. Any idea why the one in the picture with purple stems seems stuck? First few pictures are the others for comparison.

I am not sure what all details are helpful
Outdoor grown
In buckets with potting soil and plenty of holes.
Used grow and bloom by general hydroponics. Grow during grow and bloom now. About 1 tsp in one gallon watered over all the plants every 3 days.
Use optic foliar over grow spray every 3 days
Use recharge powder once a week
pH my water to 6.2-6.5 ish
These are all Top 44 auto flowers

If there is anything else that can help let me know what details I can provide.

Ummm.....no Micro ???
GH Flora TRIO is meant to be used as a 3 part....

Might want to grab a quart before the soil runs out of gas. Micro:Bloom 1:2. Be sure to add the micro 1st !

You need some N in flower. If the N:K ratio gets out of whack you could have a lockout.
This^^
Follow the directions on the bottles. It is not just grow in veg and bloom in flower

This is what I use. Does that make a difference? There wasn't a third one for the vegan brand.
It does make a difference, those are General Organics, I have no experience with them.
When you say GH grow and bloom most peeps will think flora trio, just FYI.

So do you have any other ideas? Does the purple one look stuck to you or could it just be slow because it's purple compared to it's sisters?

Well,,, welcome to another illinoisan! And as Jeff just said some will move faster than others. So no worries yet. She will more than likely move right along. You will just have to harvest that o e at a different time than the others. Which is not a bad thing if you ask me. Pulling fan leaves cutting and hanging all take time and it's nice imo to be able to spread it out a little.
Good luck friend!

Thank you! As a fellow illinoisian, what do you say the last safe zone to keep growing outside is? I don't need an exact day, but a week or something to look out for it getting too cold?

Well that's a tough one. I have had plants out till a couple weeks into November before. But that's how long they took to finish that year. And that's where the key is. Keeping your plants healthy until they are done.

Normally they are fine weather wise until late October or early November. But there's no sense in letting them be out there longer than it takes them to be done.

On the flip side if we do get an early hard frost. It can suck. But you're growing in containers so I'm assuming you can move them inside to a dark space overnight. But in the end we live in the midwest and the weather is definitely less than cooperative in the fall.
The best things you can do right now to insure your harvest will be as good as it can be are- pretreatment for fungal infections with potassium bicarbonate and/or silica. That can be done with foliar spray and/or feeding the plant silica when watering. And watching out for pests, bud worms whiteflies moths, aphids and spider mites. Also try to keep the foliage free from excess water. As in, all this darn rain we have going on this week. (So glad I built a hoop house) and keep air moving around the plants at all times.

Also being we have industrial hemp growing all over the place and they seem to pay zero attention to males. There is even more pollen floating around than when all we had to worry about was I.G. ditch weed pollinating our plants. And that is going on now. So if you can shelter them somehow, now would be a good time.

Back to the freezing cold. The plants can normally make it through light frosts just fine. You can cover them if you like. But it probably won't hurt them. Early hard frost outside, I have covered them and put lit sterno cans under the makeshift tents to keep them warm. In those cases, it will normally warm back up again.
Hopefully some of this will help! :bigjoint:
Good luck friend!

It's Chinese hemp left over from WWII (my family actually grew it for the war effort) . The stuff is everywhere... The state is supposed to have a wild hemp eradication team in place now with some sort of plan. But I still see the stuff.
People I know and myself have gone out and pulled it nearby wherever we have grown in the past. But it still shows up everywhere. And if you don't get rid of it it'll give you seeds. So,,,,, if you see it,,,, kill, kill, KILLLLLL!!!!
