Stress a male to force hermaphordism

How do you know you even like those phenos :) Did you smoke some male leafs?... Own up man was it seriously good tasting? hehe I am just kidding.. Honestly if you think your male stock rocks that hard definitely do not kill it.

No, it tastes like shit, but it's getting me high in a sketchy sort of way, good for folding laundry, lol.

ok what you can do is save the pollen. Then you can cross it with a different strain. If the other strain is a lot different it will make thing a lot easier. It will be whats called unstable. You will get some seeds that will grow like one plant and some will grow to look like the other and some will look like a mix of the 2. Then you can start crossing back to get back to the starting strain.

So help me out with this chart, it's been a long time since biology class. I've got a NL female a couple weeks into flower. I was planning on crossing the mWW to fNL to produce that Crystal strain cross. So the chart says that there will be 4 phenotypes? And crossing the 4 phenos, somewhere in there will be the 'parent'. So in a perfect world it would show up in only 2 generations?

Thanks everyone for the input!

OK here we go and if I make a mistake let me know.

For a example. I have one LR2(Lowryder2) female, and I have no seeds left. But I do have good pollen from a BS(Blue Streak). So I use it and will get like 100 to 150 seeds. Now the BS is a very shot hybrid dwarf with fat leaves. The LR2 is a much taller plant with much skinner leaves. Now this will be a unstable cross. So some of the seeds will have fat leaves and be short. Just like a BS(and for the most part it will be a Blue streak). Some will have the fat leaves and grow tall like a LR2(this will be a LR2 X BS cross). Some of the seeds will grow to have skinny leaves like a LR2. But stay short Like a BS(this will be a BS X LR2 cross). Some of coarse will have skinny leaves, and grow tall. Like a LR2 (and for the most part it will be a LR2). Now if i take all the ones that are LR2 looking. I just need to inbreed to that point that I have bread out the blue streak. I will have LR2 seeds

Now this can be a lot of fun because you get to grow a lot of good smoke looking for the right plant to breed.

Also you can come up with your own strains if you take the time to get them stable.

A few pics from the boys in question:

Here are 2 pollen sacs, one is pretty blurry

Chopped the 2 males back to nothing, leaving 5 or 6 branches with a few nodes, leaves and a few sacs on them. Gathered up plenty of pollen, the two bud sites on the NL look like they took the pollination, pistils starting to curl up and die. The 2 WW males I guess I'm revegging, still looking for hermaphrodism. These are now 3 weeks past showing preflowers, I can only image the crystals from a female at full term :-(:wall:

Here is the female NL.

These are the two areas pollinated:

The pistils have shriveled so I suspect the pollination took. Will probably brush a few more sites.

Here are the two WW males after stub pruning them and generally mistreating them in every way possible.

Still have a good deal of pollen to play with, thinking I'll keep these guys around somewhere and see if anything interesting plays out.

I gave a particular pheno cut away to a friend and lost the mother. Was out that plant. Tried to get it back from the guy by asking for the same favor (cutting) and he refused saying he did not want to chance stressing it into a hermie. After weeks of talking and no convincing this guy that he was simply ignorant and unwilling to learn, we asked to see his "bad ass progression" and when he was not looking we bombed his crop with good pollen....We all have good seeds now. :D and he thinks he was right about it having hermie tendency. (little does he know they all do at some point, like when your a dick and don't return the favor)

Thanks man. Can't take all the credit. I just cut a pasted, and passed it on cuz I thought it should be seen by everybody. Good info there for sure. Also funny thing is I just + repped you on your seed production thread.
