Still a sick find there bro. :) good luck with her.
thanks. Its pretty cool whenever I squeeze her stems she smells like you would imagine what the color pink smells like too lol (*u*) I have moderate synethstesia or however you spell it so im not sure you understand but just imagine pink smell in your head and its like that lol. I wanna tell ppl though if your having trouble trying to figure out how much your plant is growing, pinch a tiny bit off of a newly developed leafs tip and you can watch it grow that way. That is how I watch mine grow anyways cuz for me it is hard to tell unless I pinch off a tip for the reference. Thanks guys keep the responses flowing I like your feedback =). Cheers.

Thanks Raider, thinking next weekend will be time for a chop. Will get in there tonight or in the morning with a scope and get a good look to see if still on track. Been busy this weekend entertaining and drinking late into the night.. Need to recover some :D

Got a little sample from that little popcorn bud that I dried over the past 4 days. I smoked it out of a brass batt which was probably a poor idea, would have rather rolled it up but had no idea of the potency so I wanted just a single hit (I'm not a heavy smoker), but this is not the best gauge for taste. I will roll one up with the rest of the bud for a taste test, probably with a friend or two because the potency is definitely there. From just the single hit I can tell the potency exceeds that of the Jedi OG Kush but quite a bit. Can't wait for a proper taste test after the cure.

Checked the trichs this morning. To hard to get a shot with the USB camera, but the top buds are covered in cloudy goodness, a small spattering of ambers but less than 5%. Water uptake is considerably diminished so pretty much on target for harvest next weekend. I am hoping to fill out a bit more in this last week, but overall happy with how she has turned out.

The sample from last night was good, the taste was ok because of the brass pipe I uses, but the smell from the burn was really nice and the effect was quite strong considering it was from a bottom popcorn bud that was only dried for 4 days with no cure. You cannot really tell from the ground up bits above, but she is coated with trichomes.

Clones are coming along well, will update their journal next.

Yeah, more I am just trying to not keep the doors open to long since it is stinking things up when open :) I got a new bucket of the apple crisp Ona gel and that actually seems to work quite well. Maybe spend some time tonight trying.

Ya I did save one but still no roots on it. I think I am pretty bad at cloning since I've tried it like three times on this plant now but I still see leaf development on the one I have right now so I think it might root if I just keep it watered. Here's a pic I just took, it's the only leaf that I can take a pic of that has some trichomes on it starting. There are others but they are too hard with my iphone lol.IMG_0778[1].jpg

I tell you, I tried a few different times with no success cloning. Finally I just tossed my cuttings in a cup of water with a drop of super thrive in it (a capful in 32oz of water) and change that out every 2-3 days when I think of it and that has worked both times I tried it.

This last one I didn't even do a 45degree cut, just cut and popped in water, a couple days later I scrapped the stem (I forgot) and then about 4 days later I had roots hanging out of the side of the stem.

I might try this out with the one I have going now since there is nothing happening in the soil medium. I actually was able to just gently pull it out of the soil to look if it had anything but it was bald.

On a different note I was looking up different organics for flowering and I came across the banana peel tea. Have you ever heard of it? I was going to try it out because it seems easy to do and I do kinda want to give her something extra during flowering. You take 4 banana peels, boil them in 4 cups of water for 5 mins and then take the peels out. After its cooled off you put it in something to store it and when you wanna feed her you mix 1 part of it into 2 parts of water every two weeks. It sounds like a perfect thing for me to do because I'm really not into buying nutes.

Interesting. I just use the organic happy frog dry nutes (5-8-4). It is like $15 and 1-2 tbsp in my tea with some EWC and molasses every week or 2 is quite effective and pretty cheap. I don't think I have used 1/5th of the bag through this entire grow and part of my last so that makes the $15 stretch a looooong way. I spend more for the molasses per grow.

just made the banana peel tea and now the peels are in the oven. I'm going to make a little compost booster with it when its all dried up. Ive noticed after feeding it yesterday with molasses and water that it got a little lighter in color. Idk to worry or not because it might just be starting to develop more trichomes as I see more but it also might be N deficient. Im going to let it be for another week to see how it pans out.

Man, that is looks awesome. I was planning on my next watering being my last, but she just stopped drinking. Not sure if I want to water again or just let the soil dry out. Last time I was watering every 1-2 days and I gave a 4 day dry spell before harvest. This time I am in a bigger pot, watering every 2 days but if I do not know how long it will take to dry the soil out now. I guess I will just keep an eye on it, may not water again before harvest.
