Strawberry Dream grow

So, I meant to take a couple weeks off since I just completed my last harvest and I have visitors coming in from out of the country but then they had this interesting clone for $10 at the dispensary, and what they hell was I supposed to do now that my last grow just got tossed in jars for curing?

So I had to grab it and toss it in my room, just running a 90w UFO LED and a couple CFLs. Once the gues leave, and if temps permit I may switch on the 400MH.

Not a lot of info on them, anyone out there grown this strain?

Sounds bomb bro. Should be a nice cross. Love some Blue Dream. Shit Strawberry Cough is dank as well. One of my favorites I did was Strawberry Diesel.

I am excited to see how this one turns out actually. I have a preference for sativas and sweeter smokes. I had a bit of a scare shortly after I transplanted she was super droopy. I switched off the LED and put on the CFL and she eventually turned around. I think the clone was really more of a cutting which is why the covered the rockwool cube in dirt and put it in a party cup. I just switched the CFL for the 400 MH and we will see how this next week plays out.

Thanks for stopping over, I hope to top my last grow and find out if growing a sativa dom is really much harder than indica dom plant.

So the bar is set at 121g of bud. I know its not really a fair comparison since they are totally different strains but it is a place to start and noone seems to know anything about growing this strain.

Wierd thing, leaves going a little lime green, and getting some clawing that points to low N. Very surprised since I just put her in that FFOF and it should be running hot, not low. PH has been 6.5-6.8, only thing I can think of is that I had tried to start a clone in this soil, but it never took. I gave her a very light dose of BB last night (wasn't even ready for water) and the curling is almost all gone. No sign of burn at all yet, maybe just very hungry.

Anyway, I gave FIM a try and tied her down a little this morning. Also improved airflow a little with minor tweak and am now peaking at 81F.

and ive never had the honor to smoke strawberry cough but is gonna be one
of my first grows once i get my tent up. you should herm like a lower branch much
later on. that way one branch can have like 20 seeds of some dank ass Strawberry dream!!!

It sounds good. Kind of similar to a strain I grew out called Strawberry Blue by World of Seeds. It doesn't have the same 2 strains in it as your strawberry dream. I think yours sounds better. I currently have a Strawberry Sour Diesel going which is Original Sour Diesel x Strawberry Cough. It smells amazing. One of my favorites so far! Anyways good luck!

Thanks, I don't think I will be pulling any clones or seeds from this one. Put in an order or some seeds from seaofseeds.. plus they include 8 freebies so was $25 for 18 seeds including shipping. I will be busy for awhile.

Everything looking good, already see some growth from where I topped her, dont know if the FIM was a success, but she did not die so there is that.

I did not get pics after the top, but here are some pics of my other passion. Got some salmon going into the smoker with an apple/cherry compote along with some baby back ribs

So she seems to have taken the topping like a champ, I have a bunch of new tops and is growing pretty good now. The clawing is almost all done as well. I may give her some more of food next watering. I am hoping she will grow quite a bit this week, I need to travel next week so I want to transplant right before I leave so she doesn't drink much while I am gone.

A little training, will probably top again Monday so she can recover while I am out of town.

Nice long slender sativa leaves.

Wanted to transplant into a larger pot since I will be traveling and want to make sure she has plenty of water. Went straight from the 1G to the 5G this time. Was tempted to go with the 3 so I would have room to toss a couple of the seeds in a gallons around her, but decided on the 5 since she is looking so sativa dominant and I wanted to leave plenty of room for the roots this time.





Gave her a good watering, about 1.25 gallons straight water. She is already pointing up from bondage session this morning. I was kind of hoping she would take a little longer to recoup since I will not be able to check on her until Friday night.

I have about 5' of space, but I am using a 400W so I figure I have about an 18" sweet spot so I like to try to keep her within that.

Sounds like a badass strain man.. keep it up I'll be following your grow.

Thanks, I wish I could find someone that had some experience with this strain. A learning experience for sure.

So back from out of town, have gotten some pretty good growth while I was out.



Plan on doing a little more training, then out in PHX all next week and will see if she is ready to flip when I get back. I can already tell she is going to be stinky, has a skunky smell already.

Light feeding last night and a little more bondage. Responding well by this morning.
