Strawberry Dream grow

good to see youre back at it ive had both strains but not together i think youre in for a real treat

Thanks Herk, in my planning to take a break, I managed to wait until my last batch was done hanging before I got another in there and got an order of seeds. Not much of a summer vacation really.

I figure I am saving myself some money since if I didn't start another grow, I would have definately gone and built the new grow space I want so I can get a 24x48x84 closet going in my office. Now that will need to wait at least until I have this sativa dominant strain hung and dried.

I am pretty surprised by how rank this plant is. I did a little supercropping and man she stinks in a not completely pleasant way, yet not completely unpleasant either. I was really expecting something a bit less skunky and more "fruity?" I guess.

I will be out of town until either Thursday night or Friday morning so I wanted to stress her a bit and let her use this time to recover.

hey hbbum ive had one grow after another since i started i just enjoy doing it its peaceful & relaxing this time i spend growing & i hope you get the level of enjoyment that i do out of your grow & i hope youll let us know how everything smokes your strain i think is gonna be a good one but i think she is gonna stretch like i said ive had friends who had both of those strains so ive seen both grow as well as smoked the finished product

as herk said... im sure most of us do it for the peace, tranquility and a distraction from every day life... nothing more rewarding then to smoke some thing u grew from scratch.... humble experience!!!! and i will be following ur updates as well... deserves a like.......

Thanks, yes growing is a pleasant distraction. I ended up giving away more than half of my last harvest and I only grew one plant. What is left over will more than last me through this grow. So I suppose I am a light user compared to many, but I do enjoy the distraction provided by growing.

Herk, because of the likely stretch, will probably switch to 12-12 after I return from my trip. The leaves are about as narrow as the ones on my Jedi OG (which was a surprise) so I am wondering if they will stretch about the same. I would be super happy if it grows as well as that one did. It is certainly looking just as bushy and I plan on cleaning up around the bottom a little more on this one if only to make it easier to water

Before I forget, tossed the cage up for scrog, still have time but will start to tie to this next week.

she bears a striking resemblance in height/bushiness to our Auto AK! (the one in flower)

They have been busy girls since I was out of town. I think I will be flipping this weekend, she stands 12" tall now.



I fed them 2tsp of grow big and big boom last night to 1 gallon of water and she drank it all up.



The smell is actually starting to sweeten up a little bit, has a skunky sweet smell that just smells like pot, no other way to describe.

Thanks Hurk, decided to flip last night, so 7/20 will be my first day of 12-12. I also got a chance to pull her outside for some glamour shots

Bone dry this morning when I woke up, so gave her 1 gallon of straight water. I should have added some blackstrap molasses for the micronutrients and to feed the soil a bit, but I didn't even have coffee yet so I forgot. I will add it with the next feeding.

Still using the MH bulb and will continue veg nutes next feeding.

She looks great...wonderful shade of green. Happy, healthy.

I am excited for that cross too. "Strawberry Dream" sounds like a good smoke to me!

View attachment 2744740yeah i dont get much done untill after the 2nd cup of coffee im gonna give my plants some molasses today i used to mix molasses & beer & let it sit 48 hrs to get some micro growth going but couldnt say if it made a difference or not & ive for the most part been using gh-floranectar in my hydro grows but the molasses is a lot cheaper

I didn't get a chance to snap a pic before leaving this morning, but she is already past the screen. stretching more than I thought, good thing I won't be gone too long. Photo coming tomorrow night.

Thanks, the bar is set high from my last grow, but since this is a summer grow and a completely different strain we will see. It suck only having room for one plantI.

Ok, back home and checking on the lil' one, had to kill some time before lights on though, it wasn't difficult to find something to do.


She had clearly grown into her screen:


Also filling out quite well, and I have an ample amount of tops that should make a good harvest:



Note: Was going to feed tonight, but the color is so dark green I decided to hold off and just give water with molasses and sprinkle a little EWC on the top of the soil. I will give 1 last set of veg nuts before switching to the flowering nutrient schedule.
