Strawberry Dream grow

Yup, I did leave the MH in during the stretch, also keep with the veg feeding during the stretch. Otherwise I don't think I would have had room without some serious supercropping.

I probably could have kept the lighting closer during the stretch, but as timing would have it, I actually had to do some traveling so had to err on the side of caution.

Thanks, I am still learning! Depending on if this clone actually takes off, I may be doing one more of this strain, or moving to a heavy Indica next which will hopefully stay low.

27 days from flip. I was not going to do a photo update today, but then before lights out I decided to take her outside for some glamour shots :)

Thanks BSD.

Happy to have been able to keep her green so far. Now that she is 4 weeks in, seems to be the time things kind of slow down, from here on out I expect just fattening up of the buds and not the major changes that happen in the first 4 weeks. I like feeding with the teas and the larger pot, less frequent waterings and easier to maintain the color.

Day 29
Water with blackstrap tonight just as lights are firing up. Looking at the stems, the buds appear to be filling in and bulking up.

The clippings I took on 7/26 in water then put into soil on 8/8 are not looking so great so I was just going to pull the saddest one and drop a seed in there.

I was surprised to find some pretty healthy looking roots down there, so I put them back in the soil (may have finished killing it by yanking her out of the soil)

Made a new cup to drop a California special seed to play around a bit with. I expected it to float when I put it in water but it sank right away, anyone know if that is a bad sign? I will be starting a new thread for the seed grow.

The other clipping does not look as bad, but still not really showing any signs of growth, I will put them under a little more consistent lighting, since they have been in the window during the day, and under the canopy of momma at night.

I am hoping this is not the last of this strain and I can get one to take, I really do like how she looks.

Trust me compared to what I have seen those clones still look great! There's a guy on another forum that claims his 'foolproof' method is to pull the clones out at day six from their medium, and boom next day they are full of roots. So according to him you just made the best move possible ;)

Lol, well not sure if I buy it, but I guess I will find out :) But damn, 21 days since I took and cuttings and 11 days since I stuck them in soil. I guess I will see which works out better, the clones or the seed I just popped. The seed will be taking a backseat if the cuttings take off, will use the time to try to mainline it.

I Just got my first clone to take root so I'm super excited about it. At first I just could not get them to take root then I bought those Rapid Rooter plugs and some clone gel and then bam like 5 days later i got roots coming out of the plug...
