My blue widows they are actually more frosty then my first grow XD so you can imagine how bad that was. still trying to mess around with flowering though i think it's a lighting issue for the most part.

not really worried about bud rot dealt with shit like this before no issues it's supposed to stop raining on monday so they will have time to dry out and all that.
Here is a close-up of my monster Blue Widow last week!

If you do outdoor gardening often, look into companion planting and find some beneficial plants to keep in your garden to deter those pests! Here is an organic way to kill those aphids:
naw i don't do outdoor gardening. i've already known our garden outside is too problematic. it's not our garden it's my grandpa's and he is like a plant hoarder. we have a shit load of plants outside all if not majority are infested with diseases/bugs. i tried to help him in the past by cleaning it up to make it healthier for growing but he just shit all over my work by planting more things so i said fuck it. he's retired though so i guess out of boredom this is what he does.

plus i can't grow cannabis outside either. although we are growing legally it's something you don't want passerbyers to see because they will roll up and steal the whole plant or the buds. that is why i tend to keep my plants at a smaller size. if i grow them huge which i can i got to keep them in the back which gets less sunlight. outside those plants only get about 3-4 hours of direct sunlight per day.

nice i think mine are only 3 feet dont even remember how tall they were before i flipped possibly 2ft before flipping. they are all sagging though. was windy as hell and they fell over lol i tried to stake them thats the only reason they still standing right now but i think cause the wind and weight of the buds they are leaning. waiting for mine to really swell up to see how big they will get. first time actually feeding my flowering plants. first grow couldn't feed anything it was winter time and it rains constantly during winter.

if my strawberry coughs can manage to outgrow these 3gal pots soon then im thinking of transfering them to 7gals instead of 5gals. i can likely finish in a 3gal for sure though

I'd recommend going straight to 7s! Im finding that the bigger the pot the bigger the plant saying it true. Just gotta find out if 15 or 20 gallons are the sweet spot for pots in my 5x5 tent!!

yea the problem is i want the plants to fill out the pots though with roots. i went from 5gals to 10gals on my first grow they didn't even take to the 5gals. i got to check the roots on my blue widows i doubt they even took the 5gals im likely going to pot up around week 5 of veg though give the plants some time to take into the new pots. at this rate though i feel like 5gals might be too small for end results.

im surprised as hell the cotyledons are still attached lol. they are turning yellow but still holding on strong.

I keep the plants in plastic bags or pots until 5 gallons, then I make the switch to fabric pots. The moisture retained in the plastic pots helps so much when they are young. I compared this in my first grow. For me, plastic from seedling to 5 gallon has been the best, then switch to 10 gallon fabric.

i only grow in fabric too much watering issues for me to trust growing in plastic. plus i need as much air flow as i can get due to not running an exhaust. hate fabric pots though hard to really LST in them without messing up the pots and hard to transplant out of them too. next grow i might try and run a scrog some ghetto looking scrog.

I take garden wire, cut it up in sections, bend one end down about an inch or so, and lst into the dirt.

yea that is what i tried to do with these plants then it looked weird and felt weird too idk why but the side branches feel flimsy as hell like rubber. also gave me an issue too because they are so flimsy they went right into the dirt so i couldn't really LST them otherwise i'd have a hard time just watering them gonna wait a little longer and see if they firm up then LST again

You gonna top or fim those little ladies?
I topped once already going to let them grow out more then transplant into 5/7gals then top one more time probably. likely will transplant soon though probably on friday. they are not pot bound or anything just want to give them more space to grow out now rather then later that way i can just focus on growth i got 5-11weeks of veg to go depending how big they get on the 8th week. pretty sure i can only get them about 4ft-4.5ft before flipping due to my lights and ceiling then expect them to get around 6-7ft tall.

nice yea im having issues in flowering still i think it's mostly a light issue then secondly would be a nutrient issue think im not feeding enough in flowering.
One method ive heard of is to feed, with every watering, a quarter dose or less of your base nutes. This can help prevent burn or lockout and keep nutrients available in your soil.
