Photoperiod selection

First cloning has been successful! All have rooted nicely but they look very depleted. Don’t know why they have yellowed so much? I had no nutrients in the bubbler so I’m guessing they just ate the leaves to produce roots?

Popped them in soil yesterday so in the next week or so should start growing some new foliage!

Got a 300w LED light to set up and make a wee mother tent :)

Day 35 of flower. Buds are quite small but I think it’s due to my night time temps. Can’t get them much more than 15-16c and I’m reluctant to spend cash running a 2kw space heater. Let’s hope for quality over quantity :)

I’ve heard 11-13 gives less yield so maybe that’s also a factor. Anyways the smell bloody epic :D

I heat my tent with 300w max, 165w dehumidifier usually keeps my tent above 18.5c if the temp gets lower a 120w tube heater switches on, even in the frosty weather (10C⁰ in the room) that 300w keeps my tent pretty good, I use constant ventilation at night (slow 8w of fan power) there's more heat to be gained from a dehumidifier if your lung room environment allows or by using a higher powered dehumidifier.

I've used my current set up for years it works type thing but I've another 20ltr dehumidifier I could put in the tent to try if it's something you'd be interested in using?
It's heat and humidity taken care of for the same money, trying to lower the humidity equally using heat alone costs a fair bit more.

Thanks for the offer bud! I have a dehumidifier to hand which I could bring out. Humidity is 50% in the tent so ok.

I’m using a CMH light so puts out a fair amount of heat so need to extract the air a bit faster in the day.

I’m debating getting another 125w tubular heater to stick at the back to come on during the night

I've got one of these to control the temp with they're available for 10/15 quid they're handy to have around a grow room for fans, heater, heat matts, propagators etc up to 13 amps

They're handy as mate I've got 2, I even bought a 2nd just to have on standby they're so handy, they even heat or cool just whatever you need.

I've used 1 since March 2021 without any problems and fwiw it's also a cycle timer and a couple of other functions I’ve no use for.
 
Day 42 of flower. My this zkittlez is ripening fast this past week! Still has a fair bit of ripening to do on the lowers though.

Zkittlez clone and laughing buddha clone are growing away which is nice. Others are still trying to figure what’s hit them.

Still watering with no run off. Just keep the food low and seems like I’m getting away with it so far :)

How you finding the photos Vs autos I know you have ran autos more for a bit ? It is Looking good anyway mate

Aye my first two ever grows were photoperiods in coco. Both went wrong as I treated it like soil. Smoke was epic tho. Been autos since.

Im finding they drink much less than autos, im having to feed every 3 days instead of 2. I think thats most likely due to less light/heat in my tent with lower lighting hours. My CMH provides most of the heat in my setup.

They smell on par with autos atm, cause they vary a bit. Although the terps off the zkittlez and blueberry strains are outstanding!!

The proof is how the high is. If it’s stellar I’ll probs do what I’d did this year. Autos for bulk/main smoke and some photos for special occasions!

The high aspect I suppose will really be pheno specific but I'd say you will find there more potent overall i think but least if you find a belter you can keep her around if you choose to bud
