The overwatered one is looking better today. Brown spots on leaves aren't any worse. The plant overall looks better. I don't plan on watering again until 5/9 or 5/10 (7-8 days after watering). Hopefully this plant will have a good recovery. Depending on how it looks in a week then I may or may not add H2O2 (1-2 tsps 500ml). Maybe the roots are fine...and it is only recovering from the overwatering, which has deprived some nutrients from the plant. These plants really don't like to be overwatered (not that i've grown any other plant to compare to). I thought about getting a moisture meter (http://www.cleanairgardening.com/plant-moisture-meter.html).....but i don't want to spend the money on yet another non-essential item. I'm going to get a Ph meter though...the one i have is crap. Something like the Hanna HI98103 looks good. I'm thinking that if you measure the ph of all solutions you give your plant (and they are in the right) the soil doesn't need to be tested?
