Strange brown growth on new plants

I'm getting a strange brown coloration on one of my babies. Anyone ever seen this before? It seems to be part of the plant and not a fungus/powder. I've never seen this before. Strain is Jamacian Dream sativa dom.

Thanks peeps!

Is that organic soil? I ask because if it's not and you aren't bottle feeding yet then it could be a nutrient deficiency.

I was thinking a mold, but it seems to be under the skin as opposed to a surface condition like a mold. Humidity is within range, but it does get a bit cooler at night.

Even if that strain can get purple coloring, from genetics, I don't think it would be normal to see it this early. If it's a pigmentation then it could be an issue with nutrient uptake.

I absolutely agree. Way too early to be showing signs of purple. Do you think I should just let it be for the time being, and see what happens? Should I isolate from my other strains?

Thanks for the input everyone! Just a quick update, I'm going to try a very weak baking soda and dawn soap spray incase it is fungal in nature; keeping the door open for some fresh air in case of mold, and praying my ass off to the green gods for anything else.

Will keep this thread updated, as it seems like there isnt an easy answer.

Get colder than 60° in night phase?

Feeding it anything? P def makes purple

Got critters in the plant?

My bad dude! Missed that one... right now they're in MG moisture control and top soil. Just feeding them RO at the moment as they are only 1.5 weeks old.

No no, not that cold. 68 at its coldest. Keeps at around 72 during the day. Damn Canadian springs...

Not feeding anything yet, but the medium has .18-.10-.10 ratio.

Dont see any critters moving yet, but I'm worried it could be eggs, although never seen the likes of these so far.

The reason I am asking about critters is because in one pix I saw 3 black dots center of shoot area, could be just 3 color pigments. Just be vigilant. As far as guidance Renfro has you covered. :-)

I hear you man. Saw it for the first time today and panicked a bit, so I thought I'd post here before attempting anything. The weird thing about it is that I sterilized a fine needle and gently probed the strange dots to see if they would come off, but it's like it's under the new growth bulb's skin. Here's to hoping it's a pigmentation issue.
