Strange brown growth on new plants

The plant is at the age where you would start feeding. Purple can be a sign of a deficiency.

Regardless, if you use RO water the first thing to do to that water is add calmag to replace stripped minerals.

Really appreciate the advice man. I'll be hitting it tomorrow. Thought the nutes in the medium would have given it a bit more help, but I guess not.

Quick update for everyone... this is the strangest genetic trait I've ever seen. When the leaves grew out, the brown spots vanished, but it seems to be on the new growth now. She seems happy, so I'm not worried at the moment. Just found it very odd.
