So SgtJayne, the info I got about Apollo 11 came from some advice on a RIU thread just like this one. But after some newly acquired info, you should take all these recommendations with a grain of salt because apparently these people are full of bullpoo.
Appreciate man. I am going to check into Apollo 11 and see what I can read about it lol

Hey everyone, long time lurker but only few times poster :-P I am hoping to get some input on what kind of strains of cannabis would or could be useful for patients suffering from War induced PTSD. I am looking for a strain that could be smoked in the morning and all day long to help with anxiety, depression, mood swings, ect. It needs to be something that keeps anxiety levels low but also keeps you energetic and clear headed. Second is a strain that is prolly going to be a very heavy indica, something that will knock you the $#@! out and prolly most importantly would be if it could help keep dreams at bay, or at least keep away night tremors and such. Any other vets out there that have had these problems and found something that works for you? Anyone know any strains that sound like they could fit this description? I apperciate all the help in advance everyone

Peace

Peace,Sarge. Check this site out. No sales but reviews of strains with ratings. It lists the positive effects and the negative effects of each and anxiety and paranoia are two ranking factors. Using Leafly to check out strains you hear about might be useful to you instead of relying on the word of individuals who might not be in the majority ranking a strain.

Using Leafly I might suggest Flo. I've used it and my vet buddy who recommended it uses it too. Excellent smoke. It's my 106 recoilless. Gets it done and quick but you can function. Ride my Shovel full tilt. Semper Fi. Good luck.

SgtJayne.... I bred the Cantaloupe Skunk that was mentioned earlier in this thread. It's truly mellow / chill weed, that's good for Anxiety and PTSD. The high is clear & up, but not over-powering or over-stimulating.

You can smoke it all day long, and you won't find yourself nodding off. It just brightens my day, and makes things flow smoothly. It's also low odor & produces decent weight. So, a pretty decent strain all around. If you give it a try, I guarantee you won't be disappointed, from one Vet to another.
