Strain Names

There are dozens of marijuana strains marketed for their purported flavor. Super Lemon Haze, Blueberry, Bubblegum, etc. Which strain have you grown/smoked that best represents it's name?

For me, it's Serious Seeds Bubblegum. The phenotype I ended up with tastes like the stick of gum you would find in a pack of baseball cards as a kid.

I'm asking because I want to try growing something unique, with a distinct taste to it.

I haven't really grown many exotic strains, I'm a skunk fan myself.. BUT, the SugarPunch purple pheno I had takes it's traits from the Blueberry Sativa and it is VERY berry smelling and tasting, I love it!

I took a peek at your Sugar Punch grow the other day. Looks like a beautiful plant! Nicely done.

I smoked some really good strawberry cough. It was all frosted up. It had a great bag appeal, and I could really taste and smell strawberries. It was a good daytime smoke, because it didn't give me that couchlock feeling.

Never tried any of subcools gear. I'm gonna have to give it a try. I've heard mixed reviews though .... have you been happy with the strains you've tried?

I grew out the agent orange from a clone and it was exactly as he describes it. Will definitely order a 10 pack of something from him in the future.

Strawberry cough is an amazing strain, and the stuff I bought tasted and smelled like they pumped the reservoir with strawberry syrup. Crazy

Might look into Heath Robinsons Black Rose if ya really want different.

I have three Querkle going now. Have not harvested his gear, but have tried several. The quality is top notch, best tasting weed, and also highly medicinal. Plus it's all bred here in the US and every strain he has is in high demand. Any questions you have you can post in his section and several people will answer your questions, or subcool himself will answer your questions. My Jack the Ripper should be here any day and then we just ordered Chernobyl, Apollo 13, and Vortex. Don't get me wrong, we still do other shit too, at first I was being a little bitch about buying regular seeds, but I grew them out, took clones, and sexed them no problem, tossed the labeled clones from the males and I'm good.

I got a few grams of Blue Dream, and it tasted like blueberry, and the dreamiest (sp?), thoughtful, warm and fuzzy buzz I've had in years. That was months ago though, and I don't think it's around anymore that I know of.

I also had a few grams of Grape Ape, and it was very purple, and tasted like yummy fruit. Awsome buzz too.

I've had some northern berry that was very berry flavored and I have grown some agent orange with the same orangy results. I have some of tga's jack the ripper growing in veg right now. hope it is as good as I have read about. I will plant some Chernobyl seeds in the next batch.

Damn! Some good suggestions fellas. Any of these strains bad for odor while flowering? I don't mind a little stank, but can't have the house smelling like a skunks ass or anything.

?, usually the stinkier the better. lol. I guess that's another reason you prefer strawberry or orange so it doesn't just smell like weed. lol

The ace of spades is supposed to actually be cherry soda. Sounds cool and I think the are supposed to be in stock any day.
With the Rasberry Cough I was hesitant to try Nirvana seeds. My girlfriends loves the strawberry cough but says it makes her cough. (lol, I am quite sure she hasn't made the connection of the name. lol, I think cough is too close to kush, or something, not sure - for someone that watches law and order and CSI all the time, she should piece this shit together sooner.) Anyway, how did it turn out? Did you grow it? She went through a dozen choices the ended up ordering the bubblelicious from Nirvana anyway.

Grape ape was badass, i wish i could find a nice cutting of that.

Raspberry cough is some potant stuff. It's a sativa high, I like the ace of spades the most (but the name sucks)

Critcal mass, makes well a critcal mass. Flo, Flows buds in mutable harvest, cheese, smells like cheese. Blue widow, taste blue and is killer. white castle, makes me wanna eat white castle. Green crack, lives up to it's name. Tru blueberry taste/looks like fruity pebbles. Bubblegum(i have two crosses with bubble gum, BUBBA KUSH, and WEMBLEY.

and the snozberry tastes like snozberry! lol

"Lemon G" baby...

The taste is so strong it loses nothing when going through a vape..
It's like they took out all the lemon and lime fruity pebbles and put them in a bag by themselves.
You put the shit in a baggy and carry it around and everyone close to you will smell it, and your pocket will still smell like it days later..
