Stoners dozen, Mizz frizzles apprentice

Greenscreen

Well-Known Member
yet another indoor grow started with a friend.
These little women are clones from an ancient strain said to be
grown since the late 70's.
The true name is actually shared by the grower so I'll make one up
I dub thee purple lemonberry. (the taste obviously)
the large plant was started by crossing Blueberry pollen with Miss Frizzle.
very, very distinct taste!

I thought the plants could switch over to flowering today because I've read
everywhere the plants will double in size when finished, so the space i have will be perfect.

I have a question for the crossover to flowering.
Should I feed them blooming food RIGHT away?
cause I've given them one quite strong mixture of grow food two waterings ago.

Don't want to stress them as these are my favourite strains in terms
of taste and growing.

Oh yeah if anyone can compare the appearance of "Purple Lemonberry"
to something they're growing, i'd like to find out how rare this strain is.

ANYWAY,
Time for an update,
I THOUGHT the plants would at least double in size, but there was more stretching than I accounted for.
I think they are a little over heated at the moment but I will take care of that this week.
talked with my buddy, and three plants that should have been lemonberry turned out to be juicy fruit.
he warned me about hermies so I'll have to keep my eyes wide open for a while

I'm no pro, but I think these plants are kicking ass

K third week, gettin exciting.
So far no hermies, which I'm stoked on cause the juicy fruits are just kickin major ass
switched the blooming food from an old shitty schultz 10-60-10 to general hydroponics Maxi-bloom 5-15-14
hope they don't react too badly, oh and I've trimmed one fan leaf off every plant except the big'un
trying to compare to other grows at the same stage so please compare and post if you're doing better than I am

Frizzle's apprentice budding nice and quickly

for some reason the purp lemonberry is slower, but I'll wait for her.

Juicy Fruit! I like this plant a lot, mostly because its soooo sativa looking,

Update:
The apprentice is now hanging to dry.
He/she will make some lovely oil methinks
oh yeah Nim gave me the idea to do it.
was thinking of throwing it down the toilet,
but then jumped online and got some advice.:leaf: I guess I'll keep the journal goin on the other Eleven plants (even though they're no longer a stoners dozen)

Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da
nananana life goes on.:joint:

Why thank you, She's goin apeshit now. it's going to be fun doin the next photo shoot.
actually got some trichs and some stink.

Alright just finished photos got better pics than I thought I would,
The growth of these plants has sped up so much its kinda freaky.
the only thing to fiddle with is how much food to give them, other than that things are gravy:bigjoint:
I might be getting some super phosphate from a friend was wondering if anyone has used it?
thinking of putting some molasses into the next watering as well.

Just gave them some nitrogen in their feeding today. looked like they were having a deficiency
I think I'll give them molasses either tomorrow or the next day.molasses won't give them a burn will it?
I know it's sugars mostly but will there be any nutrients in it to worry about?

SWEET! this is intense!
The budding formula I've given them is making them rock hard!
thank god for super phosphate.
I've given them their last feeding and a teaspoon of molasses.
two weeks from now I figure they should be a REALLY decent Christmas present:joint::mrgreen:
I used a magnifying glass to really get trichomes in focus. the smell is amazing.

looking nice, wats this special formla then lol? i may give this a try lol. neways nicely done,im about 2 weeks from my first harvest. check my journal if you get time.

Well its not a formula, I had just forgotten the name of the product.
It was a small amount of some hydroponic bud booster,
my friend had a bottle of it and said he'd used it in his last two harvests and loved the results.
so he measured an amount he thought I could use and it worked!

ive had purple in all of my seedlings so far and i even have a little in my plants that are currently flowering to be honest it has never caused me any probs.

yeah I wonder if breeding has spread the purp around cause its becoming more and more of a staple for growers, I actually left a batch of these girls outside longer than I should have and the buds were SO dark purple, they were borderline BLACK looked fantastic though, I almost want to extend their harvest date to get more dramatic purple...ness

Goin purple, I'm not sure its the temp at night, the age of the plant, or a deficiency of nutes, but I don't really care! I love the colours and smells of this strain, I may do a blueberry, purp grow so they can fill out their colours together.
Hope you like the pics:blsmoke: (minus the dog hair):eyesmoke:

oh, and the middle pic isnt goin purple, it was just covered with trichs, thought it would make a good shot.

high?
not all strains "double" during flowering haze will stretch from 18 inches to 6 or 7 feet in 10 weeks of flowering LUI(legends ultimate indica) grows but an inch or two during its flowering the amount of stretch is strain specific so keep track for future reference I always give the girls bud fertilizer on first day of flower cycle(bat guano 0-15-2)good luck
