mmm lunch time bong rips, I loved having a truck and someone expecting me to SELL for 8 hours a day...like I ain't gonna stop home and toke...come on....
 
Im a line cook rounds/cook. I know my shit. been in kitchen for 10 years and im 24. i get paid good and i have a great boss. Smoking friendly.
 
Like I said acoax, that's been my goal for a little bit now. But just checking out what else people would suggest!

I looked at security jobs on CL, but all the companies seem to be based in Baltimore... I'm not convinced that they would let me stay where I am, and not put me as security in Bmore. I would do fine where I am, but fuck Baltimore security! lol

Yeah, the niacin flush is like 400% daily value or something like that.

Trust me Tip Top, anything above $7.3/hr is better. But my goal in starting this thread, was not to work out which lower paid job is the best, but to see what jobs are out there that I hadn't thought of, and might very well be better. Of course I don't want to be working at a grocery store, fast food, etc. for the rest of my life. But working in a kitchen would be my first choice, weed habit aside. I had an office job for two years, but a kitchen is where I feel more comfortable.

I don't give a fuck if I can smoke or not on the job personally, but given the opportunity, I will. I love smoking, sue me.

I took a lesser job because I wasn't able to demote myself to part time and wanted to go back to school, went back to school and worked a shitball "drive here" text message sales gig, wasn't happy. You live once, you might as well be happy, I looked and looked and looked for other jobs but I don't wan't the same stress I had before of basically managing an industrial supplier retail outlet while my title is outside sales, and I am inside every day by myself with 15 customers in the store when I get paid to go out and sell, and find new customers. Get yelled at for one of the 70 customers not giving me a PO number on the ticket, and have the district manager call me on my way home asking why I didn't find any new prospects today or put in twenty interactions on CRM. Its not worth the frustration, if works drives you crazy it isn't worth it. You live once man, you gotta be happy. get what you need, work for what you want, and toke all along the way.

I have adhd and am a really violent and destructive person, but when I smoke I smile and don't care. :)

I feel you Number. The first 18 years of my life were a shit hole. I was introduced to weed Dec 11, 2008 when I was 19, and it changed my life. It didn't make me lazy, it just helped me realize that I could be happy, that I want to be happy, and that I'm willing to do what it takes to be happy. Even if I'm not making the most money, as long as I can smoke, pay my rent and eat, I will be happy.

im a disabled vet.i had a job where i was making like 13.00/hr as a campus security guard. and they didnt drug test.
 
damn people make 13 an hour? that's terrible. i never get drug tests and i always make at least double or quadruple+ that. you guys need a new skill set

i guess being a nerd has its perks

Agreed!! I make around 50x that much!!! if you want to be paid well.... You have to put in the time and footwork. No one gets rich by not working for it! I made I think 179k last year alone. NOT drug related. I grow weed to smoke.... Not sell. I don't need to make money illegally. I was miserable being broke... So I went to school, and put in the work. 8 years of that shit got me where I wanted to be! Took a long time, but I'd say every second of it was worth it.
