Stinging nettle?

Hey guys I'm new to while organic thing. Doing my first grow now. Starting with earth juice, and compost teas for now until my own compost is ready. I've been reading about how beneficial silica is to plants and bought some pro-tekt (only non-organic thing Imma use). But I've read somewhere that stinging nettle has a lot of silica so I bought a bunch of seeds. Is it possible to make a tea out of it so I don't have to use the pro-tekt? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Not to worry, Pro-tekt is silica which is acceptable to use on your organic crops per the NOP.

Peace!

isn't it horsetail that has the silica, not nettles?
I mean nettles may have SOME silica, but it's the horsetail you want.
nettles is some great stuff, get some comfrey, and some aloe and you are set for some good ole French gardening

Thnx grease monkey man. I'll do that. I have some aloe cuttings already it's taking forever to root. Might just have to get a rooted plant already.

I grow comfrey, stinging nettle, nasturtium, and many others. Big companion planter here. I'm pretty busy but if you have any questions just message me and I'll help when I can.
