A glance at the activity on his Facebook page, which has not been verified, reveals that Hodgkinson was adamantly anti-Republican and detested Trump. The Facebook page contains a steady steam of anti-Trump posts. He said Trump should go to prison for treason and called him the “biggest a**hole we have ever had in the Oval Office.”

Hodgkinson was also a fervent supporter of former Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders

A Facebook page believed to be his features pictures of Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, and rhetoric against President Trump, including a recent post that reads: “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”

All this means to me is that the right doesn't hold a monopoly on people with poor judgement. You've said many times that diminishing and insulting the opposition leads to conflict, not consensus. Listen to Trump diminish and insult his opposition. This is as much his fault as anybody else's.
 
Terrorism and/or mental illness, but certainly not related to Bernie, loonies in all political parties. Curious what the shooters position on guns is/was, but likely an irrational person anyway, judging from his final act. Love to the guys that took shooter out.

I dunno but Congressman Steve Scalise has an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association and served on Trumps Second Amendment Coalition.

Not surprising. Regarding the shooter, pretty clear he was a LOUSY shot. So I suspect he was not a long time gun owner.
 
In other news, somewhere around 300 other people without police escorts and bodyguards were shot today as well in America. And tomorrow, and yesterday, and every day.
