Stealth Grow Gun Cabinet

More pics as promised. I chopped the photo as too much space being taken by auto. Now that there is more room in box and planter, it's really taking off!

Added handful of Dolomite lime to lower ph but no results yet. Planter is about 3 gal. How much would you guess to add?

1-2 tablespoons. Go easy with that stuff, it will take weeks to work and can raise the KH of your soil by a bit.....

I would say you are beginning stages of a manganese / iron deficiency. Probably the most common under-diagnosed problem that happens before all of the cal/mag, N and P and K lockouts. Especially in the tips......

Just yellow tips? Are the main veins still green? Or are they losing color, [taking a picture is best to remember for periods over 24 hours]

How are your older leaves. They should stay unchanged. A few changing is somewhat normal, but I can't tell for sure.

^ Those are the normal symptoms of a iron/manganese deficiency.

Both these elements become unavailable to the plant if the pH of the soil goes higher than 7.5.

The more alkaline the soil, the less availability of iron/manganese.

What is the fix for that? If the lime takes a little bit to work, will it correct on its own or is there another way?
 
Being that I'm using the wick method for watering, I've changed out the water that had bloom fertilizer in it for plain distilled water.
 
I would drop the lime for now and use the blooms nutes still. Maybe even cut them down just a tad even.

Don't know why you are using lime to begin with? Not a cal defic........

There's your problem, lime is basic, not acidic. It is used to buffer pH drop, because of its KH.
Your going the opposite way. Use phosphoric acid to drop the pH or sulfuric :) be careful....:peace:

Keep up your regular rotation of bloom nutes and like I suggested before, maybe even a tad less to help pH stabilize that much faster. Stop using the lime, and do a water only once or twice and the tips will probably clear up.

Probably showing because you have been using the lime.
