Starting week 5 of flower.

The branch/cola in the first photo is fasciated. They look kinda cool but have very few trichomes inside so you can't really smoke it. They use up energy needlessly when it could be going to fatten up the good colas. If you recognize one in veg or early flower you can remove the top just below where the branch stem begins to flatten, then the secondary branches will grow normal colas from it.

I even had a tomato fasciate on me last summer. Here's a photo:
