Laurenash1088 THERE SHOULDNT BE ANY SEX SHOWING YET UNLESS YOU HAVE TURNED THE LIGHTS TO 12/12 PREFLOWERS SHOULDNT BE THERE. IT IS PROB NEW GROWTH. HOW TALL ARE THEY NOW? PH IS IMPORTANT. I CHECK MINE VERY SELDOM( SHAME ON ME )B/C I HAVE THE TOOLS, BUT MINES ALWAYS PRETTY GOOD. YOU CAN PICK UP A KIT AT WALMART FOR 3 OR 4 BUCKS. GOOD LUCK

Heres a pic so that when the day comes you don't go through being sure & unsure lol. Also until you have gotten good at telling the sex early on never dismiss a plant as a male until you can really see the sack starting to push away from the stem a little. (a lot of people mis sex there plant when the first signs of pre-flowers show thinking that because they see the preflower but no hairs that its male. Hairs tend to take longer to show than the initial preflower so give it time.) :)



If you look at the illustration below you can see how a very early female preflower that has not shown its hairs yet could lead someone to beleive its a male. (very initial fem Calyx that have not shown there hairs yet are very close in resemblance to a Male preflower that has not pushed away from the stem at all yet)

my plants are about 3 feet tall. i moved all my lights closer. i water about every 3 days. mist twice..sometimes more..under leaves.ok now ive topped all of them instead of 2 and 2. since reading for hours and everyone says u get more from toppping.my first born, spoiled. she has 7 colas growing big and strong! idk how i managed to do it but i freaking did!i do tricks with my little scissors! gosh i wish this was a real time- full time job!!!! itd b the bestever. i mean is everybody good at growing mr bush!? i mean i tend to b good at alot of things i do but i feel like this is my calling!!! well gunna go smoke a morning bowl haha pls more and more info i can never have enough!!!!!

IT IS UP TO THE STRAIN. I BELIEVE SOME DO BETTER TOPPED SOME DONT. IM DOING A TEST OUT NOW WITH MY GROW. LOOK AT IT IN MY SIG. I HAVE 2 TOPPED 1 NOT. GOING TO SEE WHICH ONES YEILD MORE. AND 3 FT TALL WOW!! HAVE YOU GONE TO 12/12 YET?? THOSE GIRLS ARE GOING TO GET BIG!! WHAT NODE DID YOU TOP THEM AT??

oh gosh i topped them because i didnt want them to get reallllll big. i topped at 5th or 6 node. they were about 8 inches tall when i topped them. no i still have them n veg. ive had lights on 24-7 since the very first day. but i think theyll need atleast another 3 wks n veg...theyre not ready i wnt um a little bigger and more leaves so ill b patient, its worth it.

from the time you start 12/12 they will get about 3 times the size they are when you start 12/12 i hope you have a pretty big grow space. if there 3 feet now you can look for them to be at least 6 ft matbe 7 or 8 by the time there ready to harvest. should be some good yeilds there. good luck again

ok so i have a question. i just started flowering my biggest plant. 2 biggys, 2 medium. the 2 big ones even tho i JUST started flowering last night i see those little frickin balls! and everybody keeps tellin me wait wait. but i really frickin think theyre male. the 2 smaller plants already have theirs but they point up and i can see teeeeensy little hairs! is it still too soon to tell w the big plants or am i gunna b sad and have to get rid of them!!!!!!!!!! they also look diff from the smaller ones. smaller ones leaves r ALOT darker and just different. does that have ne thing to do w it like differents strains of marijuana takin longer to show signs of what sex? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE HELLPPPPPPPPPP!

THE HAIRS ARE THEY YELLOW??? MALES SHOULD SHOW FIRST BUT IF YOUR ONLY A DAYOR SO INTO 12/12 WAITING IS THE KEY OR NOT IN DANGER OF THEM POPPING THERE SACS FOR A WHILE!

honestly i dont know theyre light could be white? theyre VERRRYYY little i have to look verry close. but the 2 i think r female u can tell a durastic difference in what it looks like 2 have more like balls, they r more stout, very thick stems lotttts of leavesbut the other 2[females?] r darker leaves which the leaves r actually alot longer then the others more tall sparse and it almost looks more like a tear drop instead of a ball and i swear i can see like 2 little hairs comin out of one. so i dont know what to do! i mean yea it is my first time growing but my instincts about them have been right so far but i really dnt wnt them to b they r my prettiest biggest oness! which makes me verrry sad

yes on the in veg longer. you could be seeing preflowers. males are usually a bit bigger your taller than females. the tear drop thing is right or that how i would describe it. the balls will be in clusters. the color i would think is more of a strain deal. sounds as though you are the right track. keep it up

I hate to kill them.. I would wait b/c there not going to hurt anything for a while at lease 10 to 12 days. Plus you get to make sure that they are diff male.

ok will do. and im pretty sure the females r sativa. which i read can b very hard to grow. much more difficult then the indica? right? or does it really not make a difference..? what r the pros of growing sativa if any? is there ne thing i should do to them i kno i read they can b lanky and like to stretch i dont want it like that ive been topping them but i want them very dense and compact w lots of leaves like the males i know it might not b possible but i wanna try n get as close to it as i can. help!

The first few grows that i did were just for the learning. I mean the bud was nice and very good but more than anything i just wanted it to turn out good. I didnt top or anything just get from start to finish. I really think i like the lollipop method the best its the easiest to do the harvest is easier. I think the plants are sexier and i do see that there is a big diff in yeild. You will find out and do what you like best though. You have any pics of your plants?? As far as sativa and indica growing diff. I think there about the same

yea im gettin alot more pics up soon. longggg story but ne who. yea ive never heard of LOLLIPOP so i will def have to read up. im the same way just wanting them to turn out good. HINTS, why i had them n veg soooo long.

I like to turn the plant pretty fast so i only keep them in veg for 4 to 5 weeks. Idont know why yours started so slow ???? But they sound like there commin on strong.

no. With a lollipop plant you leave them a single cola plant and you take off the bottom 1/3 of the plant and let it focus on making a very big main cola without many other arms.. The main cola will be about 4 or 5 times as big as the tops of a topped plant..

wouldnt it b smarth tho since theyre males to go ahead and get rid of them so i can use the extra lights on the females, they could use it!?
