I make spoons out of hardwood I find in the wild. The flap wheels are a quick way to hog out the basic shape from the wood as grown. My favorite wood to use is fire-killed manzanita. I still have some left from when I lived in the gold country.i am intrigued...what do you do with those? And why is coffee frequently bought with them, according to Amazon?
They’re also wonderful for quickly touching up garden tools. I use a scuffle hoe to knock back the weeds here each spring, and the desert grit is pure hell on tool steel. Flap wheel brings the tool back in two minutes.
Cannot speak to coffee. I don’t touch the stuff.
