I personally like the alcohol treatment most. I normally mix 40%/60% of Alcohol to RO water and then a wetting agent such as dishwashing soap (non antibacterial) or a wetting agent such as cocowet. What the wetting agent does is lowers the surface tension of water allowing the water molecule to spread out, ensuring you get better coverage. Make sure you let the plant dry out before you put it back under the light or else it will burn the leaf. Never use the alcohol treatment when you are flowering. As you guys know, Alcohol dissolves THC. Do a treatment every 5 days during VEG as well as keep your grow room meticulously clean and you should not have any spidermite problems.
Another treatment that works great also is Neem Oil. Remember to use Einstein brand neem oil because it is cold compressed. Follow the instructions on the bottle and mix with cocowet wetting agent and water. Make sure you spray the topside and underside of the leaves. You should do a water spray the day after to wash off the neem.
If you guys are using soil or soilless mix such as Sunshine mix, try sprinkling some Diatomaceous Earth on the top layer. This is one of the best natural pesticide not too many people have heard about. It is made of the outershells of phytoplanton (unicellular algae). Its composition is mainly silica (90%). Remember to grab the food grade, it should only be 15$ for a 25lb bag. Basically, imagine the Sahara Desert and instead of sand, it is all glass. Any bugs, arthopods, coming into contact will have their outershell pierced and die. In addition to it being a natural pesticide, the silica also helps your plant in thicker branches. Advanced Nutrients has a supplement called Rhinoskin which is basically a silica additive. Hope this helps
