200w spider Farmer SF2000 4 plants and a one bud trio under this led light.
The big one is Gmo X Animal, (Ripper Seeds). Critical Kush and Gorilla Zkittlez (Barney´s Farm), Jack Herer( Vision’Seeds), Limón Blanco( Khalifa Genetics ), 2 Black Bomb( Philosopher Seeds).
Organic Soil, light mix Biobizz, and coco mix Biobizz, mixed nutrients ( solid and liquid (bio biz roots juice, grow, bloom, top max, heaven, acti-Vera, Algamic.
This is my second run for féminised seeds and had 3 auto runs before.
I am a beginner and had a lot of help from some old growers and much more experienced.

am using 2 1000 watt 8"" cooltubes at mo, want to change to led for next grow, what would you recommend for a 2x2x1 tent, my mate swears by spiderfarmer lights, so might give a go if price is right

If your tent size is 200x200x100cm, then you can consider changing to 2xSE5000 480W LED grow light.
If your budget is limited, 2xSF4000 is also ok.

Heat dissipation of SE is better than SF, both series with dimming daisy chain function.

I will be buying a few lights; I'm looking for each to cover a 5x5 area. I probably don't wanna go over 1000 ppfd so I'll be dimming the lights.

Is there a significant difference in the amount of heat they put out? Can they be hanged to the same length (I might use a tent so height might be an issue)? Is the light distribution over a 5x5 area gonna be similar with each?

@lushy1 Sorry for the late reply because of the time difference.
About the heat, different lightness, the heat will be different, for the wattage change.
About the hanging height, you can adjust it according to your own needs(the package will equip with YOYO hangers.
For your last question, you can check the PPFD map on the product listing.
