Speedster inline duct fan speed controller

does the speedster inline duct fan speed controller or a product like it work on anything else? like an air pump....? I have a high output air pump would be great if I could change the flow up and down.. :peace:

ok... am I getting no answers because nobody really knows or because im askin a really dumb question since FAN is in the product description? anyone with thoughts or a different product in mind please do let me knowzzz

I've never used mine on anything else, but assuming it's just like a normal rheostat, it should work fine!

Yea it will work fine, It is just lowering the voltage going to the fan/pump. Set-up how you want it and just feel the pump/fan after 30 min and make sure it is not any hotter than without the speed controller. Sometimes when you lower the voltage going to a fan/pump it can heat up a little bit more than normal since its not pushing the same volume of air/water to cool off the motor.

A little inline Tap valve would slow down airflow from a pump... pennys to buy :)... But i think yes ! ... It wouldlower the voltage to a pump and get the same result ... Not sure if it would have any adverse effect on the pump though ? :)
