Zing95% efficient at separating you from your money. the other 5% is credit card processing and banking fees
thats the drivers. how effiecient are those LEDs?"medical-grade driver"
oh...and I was wrong...it wasn't 95% efficiency....It was 92% efficiency (3:30 mark)
im sure they are great fixtures, but to say that 92% is anything but misleading is...misleading.Crazydago on YouTube was one of the first people to get a one and did a review on it.
I personally have 4 of their 100 watt closet case lights for veg in a 4 x 8 and my plants love them
If the 600 works as good I would buy in a heart beat just my personal opinion
well its 168 cree SMDs @ 3.5W each, just figure out what kind of chips those are and you can look up efficiency with PCTthats the drivers. how effiecient are those LEDs?
The guy is just a salesman. My Meanwell HLG-600H drivers are managing 95.5% efficiency (tested power consumption myself)."medical-grade driver"

Cant blame them for marketing. However they are using some older chipsets and for those prices they should atleast be using the XPG line.shit king
SK actualy did put their fixture in a sphere. Or more accurately, Cree staff did when they performed a TEMPO test.Yes i have no issue with the product, the design is fairly solid with the heat pipes and theres certainly nothing wrong with single diodes. take same product, strip away the claims and misrepresentation, throw it in a sphere and show us some ooohmoles.
i mean cmon some of these claims are rediculous, it shows a clear case of someone who doesnt understand LED fundamentals and more importantly thermodynamics. He literally says in that video that the fixture is 92% efficient - 610W of light and 40W of heat.
"Extra efficient heatsinks lower overall ambient room temperature"
where can i buy these magical heatsinks that actually remove heat from a room
and their claim that you can only put 2 gavitas per ton of AC is bullshit.
1150W = 3923 btu = 0.32 ton
consequently, they claim you can put eight of their 640W fixtures on a ton of AC. think about that for a second. that would mean it would use 1/4 of the power of the gavitas (288W) - yet its listed as 640W.
640W = 2184 btu = 0.18 ton = 5.5 fixtures per ton
im sure they are great fixtures, but to say that 92% is anything but misleading is...misleading.
almost as misleading as using lux and a single spot reading 1 foot from the panel as your specifications
well its 168 cree SMDs @ 3.5W each, just figure out what kind of chips those are and you can look up efficiency with PCT
maybe when he said 92% efficiency, he meant 92 lm/W?SK actualy did put their fixture in a sphere. Or more accurately, Cree staff did when they performed a TEMPO test.
