I have the Hans Panel 180 Watt version and I can vouch that it's an excellent light. I see everyone here selling it short. Do you guys have one? Are you using one? If not then don't you think it would be better to just say nothing or 'I don't know'?
In my personal experience, I was growing 3-4' foot plants with my HPS setup indoors- This LED light is doing that or maybe even better than the HPS. I was surprised at the output of the light and had my doubts that it couldn't stand a chance against my HPS. I was wrong.
I heard someone say that the technology is outdated...oh? How so? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. I just can't understand why people are discounting something with no experience in using the lighting system itself.
I'd also like to mention that it's very well made, and again...puts out a LOT less heat, and sucks up a lot less of my money in electricity. So I disagree with the comment about the technology being 'outdated'. It's HPS lights that are becoming obsolete, too expensive to run, and which create a lot more damaging heat and light burn if you aren't careful.
I guess it's probably a good time to throw some photos. And for those who are interested, I'll keep updating, and maybe I will create a grow journal and then you can decide for yourself if its right for you or not. Not just some advice out of hearsay or pure speculation.
Yes, the 180 watt is expensive at $350 for some people, but shipping was free which sweetens the deal, and it's a lot cheaper than some of the most expensive LED systems.
I just planted an Auto Blueberry and a White Widow (hybrid auto feminized) the two plants in the 6-liter buckets. Let's see for the record how good it is. Oh and ignore the sick Warlock fem that is recovering from high pH in the photos. I adopted this plant
