I have a Dr. Seedsman's 30:1 Cbd plant in flower right now. Over 20% cbd and under 1% thc. While this plant isn't for me, my fiancée when she does smoke, prefers a low thc smoke.
I’m curious to try a high cbd, mine’s about four weeks away from harvest. I heard you don’t let the trichomes turn amber like thc bud? Is that right ?

my first time growing it honestly, when you harvest a plant higher in thc, when the trichomes are milky (head high) , when you harvest with amber trichomes you get more of a body high (couchlock)

I think that during the normal stages of plant development THC reaches its peak height sooner than CBD. So you should harvest a CBD plant rather later than a THC plant. Furthermore, THC degrades later to CBN - which has similar medical characteristics than CBD. When the trichomes start gettign amber, thats THC buildup starts to decline and CBN is gradually increased.

Well I've had a slight setback. I realized that the seeds I started were regulars so I'm going to start some fems that were freebies. I don't want to get all giddy about my plant and then find out it's a male. Regardless, I'm going to win this challenge and leave all of you in the dust. Then I'm going to boast about it and rub it in every chance I get.

It's still on! :bigjoint:

There's still plenty of time. Everyone is really just getting started. Hell, people can still join if they'd like.

Clones have a slight advantage considering they are as big as they are when they hit the cup. There's nothing really to be won here so I am personally not against it. If other growers are ok I am ok with it. Just trying to keep it fair and fun.
