There's still plenty of time. Everyone is really just getting started. Hell, people can still join if they'd like.

@TheSadVeryBadMadGrower I ran through and compiled all the information I could on everyone that said they were in.

If I missed you let me know and I will throw you on this list. Was thinking it would be cool to track all the points below to compare at the end and so everyone can know what breeder strain is being run and how it turned out. This is also just for fun so you can tell me to fuck off if you'd like and it won't hurt my feelings. I was thinking at the end of this run everyone could vote and rank everyones entry and submit to @TheSadVeryBadMadGrower and he could announce the Winner based on averaged votes.

Damnit...I just realized i'm doing this to supplement my lack of fantasy football. Worth it.

Yea he's doing some really crazy things over there. I highly suggest checking some of his work out. The things he's doing with his plants are just insane. Spiral stems is just a start....
He had changed my whole thought process... I’d be happy to achieve this out of a gallon pot.. talk about wasting soil!!

There's another grower on IG that is pulling numbers higher then mine in Solo cups while I use 3 gallon fabrics. If given enough time and properly taken care of, you can pull some impressive numbers in small grows. But they will be a MAJOR pain in the ass to take care of if you don't have a lot of time on your hands.

My very first plant I ever grew was in 1 gallon fabric. Sadly I do not have the harvest picture. I pulled just over 5oz dried off her.first plant ever.jpg

My San Fernando Valley in a one gallon plastic pot. I still use these.sfv1.jpg

My current Girl Scout Cookies is in that 1 gallon plastic pot now. She is the front plant on the left.

That’s it I’m done lugging these 3 & 5 gallons around.. and to be honest I like to water my plants.. this tells me it’s all about the soil.. I have one in a 3/4 gallon plastic.. I’m going to see if I can get a good yield out of her and go from there.. my new challenge

I never went as big as 5. I use 3 gallon fabrics now but that's because I found my sweet spot for watering and feeding. The smaller you go, the more attending you'll be doing. Like I said, I still use 2 of those one gallon plastics ( that I got for a dollar each at Dollar Tree ). Just had to melt holes in the bottom for drainage. I do have to water them about a day earlier then my 3 gallon fabrics. I have 4 different rooms maxed out right now, so every day I have to do something in one or more of the rooms.

@Hempire828 I have also used the same soil and nutes in every single one of my grows. I have even reused soil from previous runs. If it's used soil I just rinse the living hell out of it then start feeding a little earlier then I normally would had I used fresh soil. I have yet to see a difference in a plant regardless if the soil was new or old.

I'm trying everything, had monster photo plants in 20 gal pots outdoors. Photo Plants in the ground outdoors just the same size. But honestly to big for my liking, hard to keep an eye on everything bud rot etc.. this year will be 3 gal pots and autos mostly, with the exception of my photo gorilla girl from sweet seeds that will be in a 20 gal. pot.

Harder to compare outside plants from inside plants. If I was outdoors, I would use big ass pots too.

Proper lights + proper veg time + proper feedings & watering + an average at minimum yielding strain + optimal environment= It don't matter what you use as long as it's used correctly, will get you a plant that you WILL be happy with.
