Came out of my Jameson Whiskey fog this holiday today to get serious ……

Auto seeds in the cup . I have been working on a new layered mix to run and will be using that across the board on them.
‘Originally I was gonna make 2 COCO Hempy cups ‘ but went with this updated mix using EB STONE - Recipe 420 as a base.

Right now , they are keeping warm on a toweled heated seedling pad to cool nights under Agromax Pure Par Veg T5HO Duals
to get them started …. As grows moves on , they will get the Quantum 96s from same rig.

Mine are dead slow as my temps totally suck....plus using shity lights :)

I have added a heater and swapped out LED bulbs for CFL's but we are in a cold snap and my room is only about 65F.

I see early signs of a cal-mag def....this has happens often as my water source is so pure that they need a cal-mag supplement within the first week.

added a humidifier so at least my RH is decent...also have a tin foil dome to help retain the heat (not shown)

Looks like those cups are staying pretty wet on top due to the algae growth on top. Is that soil? Maybe let them dry out?

They are a hempy (perlite) with a soil cap and core.

I believe you are right as there isn't enough heat to dry the top soil cap and likely neither the soil core.

In retrospect, I should not have used this method for this grow...almost makes me want to start a new batch before the new year.

Once they get full sized it's extremely hard to keep up with watering. My first only solo grow in pure coco needed multiple waterings a day and I could only do one. :(

I'm retired and bored with time to kill, so I treat this as a hobby.

Considering that I'm using such low powered lights, I don't think they will need more than one watering a day...maybe two down the road

Yea the other green crack I grew was very vigorous. In fact the biggest plants I’ve grown yet have either been from ACE seeds or fastbuds. But there’s loads I still haven’t tried lol
