I wouldn't do that, if you do, do so sparingly, they can increase your ph pretty quick, and it's mostly soluble too, so that type of spike to the soil isn't good.what's ya'all opinion on using fire pit ash to mix into soil for growing?
Why do you think you need it? For the nutrients? I'd go with minerals personally, an concentrate on a good bioherd to incorporate the phosphorus availability.
for liming agents i'd use oyster flour, crab shell, oyster shell, or simple dolomite lime/calcitic lime
but if your base is promix, that's already a limed mix.
don't want to much or you'll lock out other nutrients
