How much are the Stanley containers with the wheels?
they each run $59.99 +tax, i think its a great deal for a unit with wheels

ill be running 12 per site, spaced every other hole; that's 6 per "post"
not locked on the strains yet, they are listed somewhere on this thread

just picked the remainder of the carts,
also decided to run the cloner and veg unit off the strong box
should be very easy to implement with its diamond shaped top

Then I saw the pics, yikes:|

I was drooling over that box at Home Depot. Wish they would have had those in stock before I bought these stupid 37G Rubbermaids.

Think I'm gonna have to make a trip there this weekend.

Put this damn system together so we can drool over it.

I use the 27 gallon strongboxes.

Seems to me that the wheels would be realatively worthless. Maybe I'm wrong, but with the res filled with water to the desired level, would'nt the unit have to be tilted at a certain angle to roll on the wheels, and if it has holes in the side for the posts, seems like a formula for some spillage.

Nice looking res though, very strong, with a higher capacity than the strongbox's. Plus... a cool lid on hinges.

GypsyBush's choice looks cool too. If the 27 gallon res's didnt work so well for my setup, I'd totally look into those, i really like the low drain.

The perfect res for me would taper to a low point, with a drain in the very bottom, so that 99% of the water would drain out.

Things are coming together for you SOG... looking great man. Your room is going to be epic.

These boxes are great for cloning and veg, make a CFL hood out of another one and they stack real nice and sturdy like a sandwich, res on bottom light hood on top with the lid for the plant supports.:bigjoint:

I used one of these with that in mind and may change to it eventually.

I'm with you on that YaK, it doesnt need to be moved once its setup
the tough box is my favorite, the Stanley's tools box is 50 gallon way to big for me
(got a bit carried away with that unit)
the wheels and handle are just an added value
ill be working on fitting everything in the Though Box
other than one gallon per plant rule,
how many gallons are you guys actually running efficiently in your res for the two weeks duration?

You can run ad many or as little gallons as you want, the rule of thumb is the less gallons the more frequent the nutrient change, and vice-a-versa.

I do 20 to 22 gallons per 10 -15 plants, and I do res changes every 3 weeks. I'm way too lazy for 2 weeks.. way.

I like those strong boxes, theyre just to damn tall for my room. I need something long and flat, but similar construction.
