So Much Sweeter the Second Time Round (I Hope)

the blue and the lemon are some of my favourite tasting weeds i've had so far, keepers for sure. my mate is looking after the blue as i dont grow it that often and his clones didnt root so i've taken 2 cuttings nearly 3 weeks into 12.12 it was a few days ago and there still up right and healthy. shame i cant say the same about the lemon cutting i received from him, lesson learned lol

115g of bone dry bud from the lemon skunk, they weren't as dense as the last time i grew her out, got around 20 of popcorn which i didn't even weigh, going to make hash with all the different dry leaf i have. got no cam so i cant post any interesting pics, gotta get one soon and spread my porn about. the super lemon haze has started purpling up, i removed my radiator from the tent as i am chopping this week, some purple super lemon haze, it doesn't get much better than that.

Nice brotha man, im chopping threw out this week also, i harvest one plant and some branches last night off a select few.

i'm amazed by the SLH, the tester bud i took last week has been getting me high all week lol. very very sativa in its high though, it has me racing about the house tweaking like a crack head. i think next time i smoke it it might be a different story, somebody get me some doritos and salsa cos i aint moving my ass til this re-run of top gear has finished.

harvested the slh after 75 days with some nice purple foxtails, it won't yield as much as the other big plants i harvested but it is all good, looking forward to smoking this stuff for sure.





hanging to dry, nice conditions i think, i hang them in my cupboard with the door slightly open, when the humidity drops to around 60 i close the door, it goes up to around 80 then i open it again, it takes a week to dry the bud properly but after this it is ready to smoke, i then cure it in the jars for as long as i can, it doesn't last long though!.






cheese give me 175g the beast, my mate who was helping me trim suggested that i weigh the popcorn/trim along with the bud to gain the correct yield as he doesn't make hash and he leaves any quality leaf on the bud and smokes everything. beforehand i was cutting off all the fan leaves and big leaves, then letting the buds dry, then removing all of the smalll leves when dry and putting them in a bag to be hashified. previously i only weighed the buds after i had trimmed them and was about to jar them.

anybody seen this before? i think it is a magnifying glass burn because there is a dimple on one of the cooltubes, no sign of pests although it looks as though there has been a caterpiller munching on leaves

Ya looks like it has been getting eaten by some kinda of bug, havent seen a hot spot burn thru leaves before.

But im not saying it isnt it either, i know weirder things have happened lol

looks like bug bites to me bro, have a look around for other types of burning on the plant pot, stalks etc. i dont think it is and i'm hoping its not, my cool tube has some dimples and i had no worries

you got me scared now, gonna have to get all of the plants out and have a good inspection, i don't like moving them if i dont have to, i hear the old wives tale about it affecting yield.
haze is nicely dry now 160g, thats the last of the big plants, might be a long while before i beat those yieds. been smoking joints of that with hash sausages rolled up in them, niiiice.

that ur final weight on the lemons? smashed it bro, i got under that on my mini scrog around 130 roughly i think, i got roughly four and a half, four and three quarters u got nearer five and a half??? nice one bro

i got 175 from the cheese, i was literally in shock. i grew from seed, i hear that is the best way for yield, alot of the bud sights where opposing so it might have something to do with it. i started four seeds halfway through my last grow, they must have vegged for like 10 weeks or something, they were a lot talller than your plants but less uniform. i probably won't be growing big plants any more even though it is nice to have one big plant, many small ones all the same strain and size makes more sense to me, will have to see from the little sog harvest.

the poor g spot has had it, knocked it over and it smashed on me, rather than go out and spend another £100+ on a piece of glass i picked this up instead.




it was £40 reduced to £20 for the whole kit, i would have been mad to pass this one up. a grinder 5 screens and a lighter alone are worth £20 never mind the bong.

man the dude is harsh!, fired it up last night and it had us all in a state. this SLH is crazy, never had an energetic burst like this from smoking weed, you can't sit still, definately not a bed timer. cheese on the other hand is hangover material, i can't win lol.

well my 8x4 tent is all but empty today, i have one critical+ and one og#18 left in there, they were both 12/12 from seed and took forever to start flowering, the critical is done and will be coming down this week, the og however won't be fully finished for at least two weeks, think i will end up cutting early in order to give the tent a good clean and set it up for my next project.

i'm stumped about what to do, i have so many ideas that i would like to try. i currently have 6 g-13 haze clones vegging under a 400w MH on 24/0. i have a further 15 of them still in root riot plugs with roots poking out the bottom which will need to be potted soon or the roots will die. i have got 3 blue cheese mothers with plenty of cutting sites which i can use for my mini sog run that i will be starting soon.

im toying with the idea of doing either a las fingerez style scrog or just planting them in beds to let the roots really take hold, i like being able to take the plants out of the tent and take pics/prune etc and having them in beds will prevent this, i have also never liked the idea of a fixed scrog where i cant get into the tent to fuck around.

decisions, decisions, i wish i didn't have a full time job, i would love to dedicate my life to my new passion.


another interesting point: this current grow i had my tent split into 2 under 1 600w hps i had 4 big plants that vegged for a while, and under the other i had 15 small plants that didn't really have any veg time. the small plants yielded around 260g (with the og and critical i will say around 300g) the big plants yielded 630g, now that is quite some diference.

i wonder if i had these plants in there own 4x4 tent if they would have yielded the same, that is over 1g per watt!.

i can't however claim to have achieved over 1g per watt because the small plants dragged the average right down, i also cut them early then moved the big plants over to sit under the other hps for the last couple of weeks.

my current mini sog will hopefully give a good yield and i will be able to gain a g per watt figure that is correct. i cant wait for the results of that grow to decide wether it works or not so i will try something new and use the results of that against the results of the mini sog to see what works best for me.


wow that was a long post, no more slh wake and bake ffs i'm rambling now. + rep to anybody that actually can be bothered reading all that lol.

i made a decision, beds it is, gonna do 4 x 100ltr trays filled with hydroton/coco+perlite/hydroton 3 plants per tray, topped and fimmed.
got all my gear so gonna make a start tonight, gonna be some monsters i hope.

chopped the critical+ last night and donated the og#18 to my mate and fellow grower, he will look after it from here on out.


i will prob start another grow journal when i get the dry weight of the critical+ and the new set up is up and running.
