If you want a faster flowering sativa and need cheap seeds, check out Fleur Du Mal and their breeder packs. They have a Cindy 99 Breeder pack for $30 and it’s 25 beans! Cindy 99 is almost pure sativa and pretty uniform from being worked. The original process used for making Cindy 99 was by “cubing“ Princess. It was crossed to a pollen donor, and then backcrossed onto itself several times to stabilize the genes. It’s also known to finish super early, like 8 weeks. This breeder pack offers you several crosses to hunt through. The price is right for what it is. https://fdmseeds.com/product/cinderella-mix. You can also buy half-packs of seed at Kingdom Organic Seeds (from breeder/author, The Rev). He carries a lot of really old school sativas and neat stuff that no one else has.

Also, there’s the route of micro-dosing Indicas throughout the day. Smoke just enough to tone down the brain’s “crazy dial” a few notches but not enough to shut it off completely. That’s been my personal preference for the last few years. Sativas can make twitchy and manic, like a squirrel. Indicas help me relax and “quiet the noise.”

Autos are not going to be as consistent as photos, and most seeds, even from the same parent, can take on a variety of traits. I wouldn’t look for them to mimic any specific photo. Mephisto very effectively documents the various traits their plants can take in their descriptions. I’ve had good luck buying from established breeders, or buying from a seed bank that sells in the original packaging, and I’ve never felt I received something other than what was advertised. Somewhat limited sample, admittedly.

There’s a great discussion about pros and cons of autos in the podcast Shaping Fire, episode 89. Well worth listening to for those of us who like the grow them. I found it on Spotify, though I imagine there are other outlets as well.

Everyone wasting time on this subject just so a guy can justify buying the cheapest bunk he can find.
Mexi redhair isn't a "strain" anyway. It just describes about half of all old mexi brick. And those weren't strains either. Most varieties that came across from weren't documented .

The paradox of choices can be difficult and expensive to navigate through as a new grower who’s not been well informed. Ask me how I know . Give dude a break, they're on a tight budget, which makes it even harder. Help and info is the way to fix that.

Nooo, Mexican red hair DID NOT USE to be a strain, it was, back in the 70s and 80s, The Term used to describe weed from mexico that was far better than the average brick weed of the time. The STRAIN however has since been created. Mexican Red Hair is now a bonafide strain thanks to the work of Sensi Seeds. They took the original Oaxacan landrace genes and mixed them with Durban Poison and Hash Plant to create a tougher strain that can adapt to American outdoor growing, while still pumping out a quick yield with only eight to ten weeks of flowering time. So maybe next time just do a tiny lil touch of research before you open your mouth and jump in with both feet cause you only THINK you know what your talking about. Just a suggestion.

For the record, I am not trying to "justify" anything, Simple fact, I bought what I could afford its as simple as that. If you can afford 100+ for a 3 pack of seeds that is great for you, not all of us however have money like that. I truly hope you never end up disable and in a position where you cant afford the fantastic expensive stuff you are used to, that would really suck for you.
